Now that LEGO has the Trek license there's a decent chance could finally get a LEGO Star Trek game, so today I got thinking about how I'd want to see them do it. I have several ideas for what I'd want it to be like, and I was curious to see what kind of ideas other people might have.
My ideas for the overall game:
A game focused on just one series, and do kind of a best of thing with each level based on a different episode, with the ship as the hub world.
A single series with an original story line that brings in a bunch of the popular characters and planets.
More best of, but this time covering multiple series.
A new original crossover storyline that brings characters from all or at least some of the different series together.
Powers:
Tricorder scanning, which would basically be like the Detective Mode in the DC games. This would be for characters like Spock, Data, Jadzia or Tendi.
Super strength is pretty self explanatory, and would be for characters Worf.
Negotiation, I'm not sure of an equivalent for this, but I'd picture it as kind of a multiple choice conversation thing, and it would be for characters like Kirk, and Picard.
