I hope they get the Russos back in to watch this new Honest Trailer since the last one influenced the making of Civil War.
There's a million skyline shots of NYC and no Stark/Avengers tower in the background.
Daredevil and Jessica Jones should be able to see the Avengers tower as they're prowling rooftops in Hell's Kitchen.
What bugged me was that they had a shot of the MetLife building. And I'm pretty sure the lack of avengers tower has more to do with the cost of inserting it into every shot, especially when 90% of the audience will never notice it's absence.
I wish this movie DID NOT feature a five to ten minute scene about Tony recruiting Peter Parker . . . in a Captain America movie.
It was a great scene.
So if a generic villain would have recruited a generic henchman, would that have been ok?
Or would you have prefered a story purely told from Cap's perspective alone?
I would have liked a genuine follow up to "The Winter Soldier",
a continuation of "Age of Ultron"
The title's first half for this movie is CAPTAIN AMERICA, not THE AVENGERS or IRON MAN.
I would have liked a genuine follow up to "The Winter Soldier", instead of a continuation of "Age of Ultron", which would have suited an Avengers movie, instead of a Captain America movie. But since that's not going to happen, all I can do is harbor a low regard for this movie.
And why did the topic of a generic villain get into this conversation?
And that's only if you don't count Chris Evans' cameo.I think the only "solo" movie to come out since Avengers that didn't feature some kind of appearance by at least one other major character is Thor: The Dark World.
