Burger King's New Seven Inch Sandwich

I could have sworn I read that this ad was limited to Singapore or somewhere, though it doesn't strike me as the sort of ad they would typically allow there.

The national currency in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar, with the same $ sign, so that doesn't rule anything out.

I haven't seen this ad yet but I love love love the "Wake Up With the King" ads. They're so hilariously creepy! Their mascot is a silent stalker who will sneak into your bedroom while you're asleep! That is awesome. :p

I enjoyed Quiznos' mmmmmmmm mmmm mmmm lesbians sandwich commercial more. :p

When that one that ended with the chick saying, "It's got more meat! And that's what real women need!" was on TV, my roommate would always shout "Whores!" at the ladies when it came on.

Bill Hicks was right. Sooner or later there will be and ad that is just a nude woman masturbating with the caption "Drink Coke."

Why would the advertisement be in english then instead of the native language?

I doubt it's limited to Singapore in any case. Plenty of other places (Carl Jr's/Hardees) has been even more blatant in the past (Paris Hilton anyone?) and while it's disconcerting to see Burger King following the path it's hardly a new trend in fast food.

I understand that the ad is provocative to get our attention, but I'm wondering who this ad is aimed at. I don't really want to eat a burger that reminds me of a 7 inch penis. Maybe it's aimed at lovers of the peepee, but I can't see a heterosexual male going "damn, now I want one!".

Now I bet they wish they'd had you in the ad meeting :guffaw:

I showed this to my wife last night and she was making "double whopper" jokes.

Her suggestion was to take one of her bras and build a burger that can fill one of the cups.... and sell them as a pair.

...sensors indicate possible new diner-meal on the horizon.

They should do what Quizno's did and get a small Asian woman to up the innuendo.

Supposedly, the ad company is from Singapore. Not sure, just going by what I remember reading.

Thankfully we have a wide variety of locally owned restaurants in my city. I haven't eaten at a chain in 5 or 6 years.

Try it. You might be pleasantly surprised.
