Thanks for voting in the sixth season polls. This is the first part of the seventh season poll where you have to vote the three episodes you consider to be the best. The five episodes receiving the most votes will go on to the next round. Well, if by now you don't know the routine you are officially a newbie. ;)

Winners to date:
Conspiracy (Season 1)
Q Who? (Season 2)
The Best of Both Worlds (Season 3)
The Best of Both Worlds, Part II (Season 4)
The Inner Light (Season 5)
Chain of Command, Part II (Season 6)

The poll is open for three days. (Well, at least it should be. Bear with me. :D)

Easy choices in a season filled with so much crap.

Parallels
The Pegasus
All Good Things...

The Pegasus
Lower Decks
All Good Things...

I kind of hate to leave off Preemptive Strike, as I really enjoyed that one, but it's a notch below those three.

The Pegasus
Lower Decks
Parallels
All Good Things

For me Season 7 is similar to Season 1 one in that they contain some of my favorite Trek episodes, but also have some of the worst. I remember in 1994 thinking NG as we knew it at the time had run its course.

The Pegasus
Journey's End - Best Wesley Crusher episode
All Good Things - Best Season 7 episode, Best Trek Finale

I criminally forgot about Parallels, and it was too late when I realized it was a Worf episode. I rate it higher than Journey's End. That said, those four episodes, Firstborn, Lower Decks and Preemptive Attack, I love from this season. Otherwise, Season 7 is rather ok, and not nearly as consistently good or on the whole excellent as 3, 4 and 6 were. I place it with season 1 as the worst TNG seasons, because half the time the actors aren't interested in the said episodes - probably because they feel GEN would become their big break (lol).

Anyway, for a generally weak season, its got the best finale of the entire Trek canon, one thats so brilliant, as it shows a possible future, and ties with TNG's pilot quite ingeniously. It may leave the door open, but it does so well, as it literally rounds Encounter to Farpoint and this one, and thus, the entire TNG canon, into one story... Quite literally breathtaking and worth watching every time.

Journey's End is, probably the best utilization of Wesley Crusher, and for me, the best tribute to Gene Roddenbery himself, as Wesley by the end of that episode, quite literally becomes a Great Bird in the big galaxy. I really love this also, for the essential rooting of the Macquis, who we've seen in early DS9 quite a few times. And The Pegasus is a great story for Riker, with loyalty as its theme, and the final scene is certainly interesting. Its quite sad that These Are The Voyages almost ruined this, as its really a rare episode on TNG that critisizes Starfleet officers on the highest level.

(I say almost, because I ignore that POS and enjoy The Pegasus still.)

So many to choose from...

Lower Decks. I loved the day to day on the ship, capped with extreme bravery by our young ensign.
All Good Things.
Gambit, Pt II. I loved seeing Data in real command.

Lower Decks is probably one of my Top 5 from the entire series. My other votes went to The Pegasus and Preemptive Strike.

I have gone for Parralels, The Pegasus and All Good Things...!

They were awesome episode and I loved the series finale alot

Genesis
Masks
All Good Things...

The finale is obviously the winner. I picked the former two episodes because they receive a lot of hate, but they have a lot of creepy, weird atmosphere which no Trek show was able to better than TNG.

Parralels
The Pegasus
Preemptive Strike

It was either fairly good or fairly bad with season 7. I also liked the Gambit 2 parter, All Good Things, and a couple others, but all in all it's a weak season imo.

Parallels, The Pegasus and Lower Decks.

I really wish they had made the lower decks concept a more regular thing. Maybe they could have done that once a season instead of Lwaxana... I also briefly thought it would make a cool concept for a show, but then realized the viewer would quickly get tired of the "we don't know what's going on...but there's clearly some bigger picture to all our little assignments" plot.

Looking at this list of episodes also makes me realize how polarizing season 7 is. There are lots of very good episodes, but also lots of utter crap episodes too. In some ways, it reminds me a lot of TOS season 3.

Some decent episodes in this season, IMO. Here are my three:

Parallels
The Pegasus
All Good Things

It's much easier to pick the crap in this season, since there's so much of it - including what are IMO two of the worst episodes of the entire series. But it was quite difficult to leave out "The Pegasus", "Preemptive Strike" and both parts of "Gambit". I voted like this:

"Parallels"
"Lower Decks"
"All Good Things..."

Well, the 5 eps for the finals are standing out pretty clearly this time...and no surprises, they're easily the 5 best of the season.
