Bernie Mac Dead at 50

Just rewatched Guess Who with Bernie and Ashton Kutcher. It was a 2004 remake of Guess Who's Coming To Dinner with the roles reversed. Black daughter with an affluent family brings home a hard worrking white guy from the wrong side of the tracks that has turned his life around. Hilarity ensues.

Awesome movie and probably my favorite Bernie movie. The comedic chemistry between Bernie and Ashton was gold.

Didn't he have a chronic autoimmune disorder as well? Pneumonia is very dangerous if you have an autoimmune disorder. RIP, Mr. Mac. I hope you enjoyed life to the fullest. You were called home too soon.

According to CNN.com, he had sarcoidosis, although his publicist has said the pneumonia had nothing to do with it.

she also said the day before he was getting better when other people were saying he was critical.
it is possible the sarcoidosis even if not active did damage from the previous bout especially scarring of the lungs.

heck one can develop asthma three years after it goes into remission.

but yeah this was a shock.
i really do like his show. i watch it sometimes late at night on one of our local stations that is rerunning it.

he was also supposed to be a very good man to his family.

It's the same every year. We just forget who passed the year before.
