^ SB is an Honorary Niner, so she is naturally included.

She is a wonderful person and a good friend, despite this lapse of judgement on this one issue.

Well, okay...*two* issues if you count The English Patient.

*three* ... Orli ....

Cool. :D

Now all you have to do is persuade me to take part. :D

My, my, my....Ya make her an Honorary Niner and the next thing you know.... :scream:

Oh...and BTW, Neroon said it was cool with him...so now I just have to clear it with Bonz. :)

Sorry to drag the conversion away from B5 and bobbleheads for a minute. :p I've just finished watching The Visitor and Hippocratic Oath. Both good episodes, but it reminded me why the former is one of my favourites.

Tony Todd does an incredible job of playing the older Jake and gets his mannerisms spot on. Both he and Avery are wonderful in this episode and it's just such a lovely story about life, love and hope.

I love the little nods to the future Starfleet as seen in All Good Things too.

I'll let you get back to your bobbleheads now... ;)

EDIT: Good news about the B5 discussion group.

So, let's get back to the bobbleheads:

I actually knew that AA, thus the 'I thought everyone loves bobbleheads' joke. To subtle for you? :D

I'd better get on with watching Blakes 7, then...just in case Vash manages to talk me into this other thing. :D

I like the whole B5 discussion group thingy... I might actually join in. :)

You're an evil, evil man.

I ought to add that if AA posts that abomination again, I'm outta here forever. It hasn't gotten any less repulsive with the passage of time. :p

Surely that's trolling, Vash. Do something! :D

You know...the sad thing is that the guy who PLAYS Byron is actually pretty hot.

But his character is so horrible, I can barely stand that picture!

WAH!!!!! You made me this way! WAH!!!! I want my own planet! WAH!!!!!

SB likes him too .. he reminds her of Fabio ;)

And good job on the good news! So what's going to be the plan then? :D

Hey guys,

It's good to be home after a few days up in Reno. This ended up being more of a gambling trip than skiing. Actually, I did no skiing at all, because the conditions were so bad. Yesterday, my Brother and I tried and went to Squaw Valley and it was raining and windy. There were only 5 lifts open, and we just decided that spending 69 dollars for a lift ticket for 5 lifts on Ice isn't an idea of fun.

Anyway, because I turned 21 this year, I got my first crack at gambling. My parents were nice to give me $100 to play with, and there were nights when I did really well, and nights when I thought the dealer was stuffing the deck. I played mostly Blackjack and Pai Gow Poker and overall, I came home with $30 I'm still kicking myself for not quitting sooner last night at the Silver Lagacy when I started loosing and was down from 100 to $70 total. Oh well. I'll just say I was up $30 since I left the bay area with nothing. :D

Blackjack is a really fun card game to play, but hard to learn. Because I didn't go skiing, (I wonder what would have happened last year when I was 20 and couldn't gamble yet) I spent a lot of down hours looking at this casino book and studying the charts to basic stradegy. I have half of it memorized (Single deck and multi-deck) but still have to memorize the charts for soft hands (Ace with another card other than a 10 or a face) and when to split pairs.

Vash and Lord Garth,

I was only skimming this thread, but I noticed that this time of year isn't one of your favorites because of being alone or something else. I'm sorry to hear that, and hope that you guys still make the best of that situation. It must be really hard to have to see all the joy and celebration of other families during this time, but it's you who remind us that there is a much more deeper meaning of this time of year and that we should never forget those who are alone or are in need this season. You both have a special prayer from me this year, and always. :)

If you need help, I can flood his rooms with sewage, I've had a wee bit of practice ;)

I know nothing about B5 and bobbleheads. If I ever find B5 on TV I'll give it a shot though, too many people I respect are babbling on about how great it is ;)

On the rare occasion I am home in the afternoon, I always thank Spike TV because they play 4 hous of Star Trek, but curse the planners for playing DS9 first (when I usually have class) But when my 11:30 was cancelled, I decided to just go ahead and skip my 12:30 because I was in the middle of a DS9 episode

But I have followed the relaunch in the books and have managed to buy all of those. :D

:guffaw: Best summary of that twit of a character I've ever seen. :guffaw:

Remind me to tell you the name wuzit2u came up with for Boredom - err, Byron. Priceless!

And YAY! :D

^ Yeah! I'd like to know what that is!

What an annoying character!

And tomalak, thanks for the kind words. Christmas is not a good time for me, to be sure. But soon it will be over, thank goodness. ;)

*gets a bottle of Romulan Ale* Now what's going on here? God, i love Lime Wire. I'm currently downloading the last episode of The Wonder Years.
