Sorry about the 404 error folks. I took the red and blue pills at the same time. Then I took some yellow ones....

The Matrix is fine now...

Hey peeps, started to read ST DS9: The Left Hand of Destiny ... finally gonna know what happens after the series ended on TV :D
It's sad though .. a lot of names and things remind me of how cool it was to look forward to a new epi of DS9 .. and later other Trek ... and now there's nothing. Okay ... I still have loads of books to read, and I really need to catch up on my TOS ... but still ... it's not the same.

Hi everyone. Been a year today . . . since I registered. I just thought pop in, have a beverage, mention it and say, "whoa, it’s been fun!"

Ed

^ You know that means the next round is on you. :)
I'll have a canar, leave the bottle.

Kanar for me, please!! ^_^

I read A Stitch In Time! :D I was going to re-read it and try and organise my thoughts on before posting ... but I want to squeee first, dammit! I LOVED it! The structure of the book was really interesting, and the examination of how Cardassian thinking is different to human.

The drinks are on me. I think I'll have some Klingon! Blood wine! A battle of 2310! The 2309 was too fruity.

Yo, anybody here? I just made captain folks, let's party!
*whispers* drinks are on me!

I'll take the usual, Shameless.

Congrats, DsZ!!

*raises a glass of kanar*

*loads the Klingon version of "Merry Christmas, Everyone" into the juke box*

Congrats. ;)

*grabs a large bottle of Andorian Ale*

I was watching Meridian last night and noticed that Jeffrey Combs' character, Tiron, ordered an Andorian Ale.

EDIT: It's funny because in Enterprise he plays Shran, an Andorian.

Lol, Blade Runner!

Ack, Meridian ... the B-plot with Tiron/Kira et al is the only redeeming thing in that episode! ('Cept for the MSTing possibilities) ...

^ I'd have to agree with you there. ;)

I can't wait until Weyoun is introduced. Combs is my hero. He's one of those people whose presence in a poor episode can make it bearable. :D

Not that there were many bad DS9 episodes. :)

Thanks BR, Llanita

*raises glass of canar*

 I never noticed that little detail with Jeffrey and the Andorian Ale in Meridian (probably because I skip the episode almost every time I watch DS9). That's the best piece of foreshadowing ever!

BTW, that Klingon version of 'Merry Christmas, Everyone' rocks.

^^^ Unfortunately I made it up ... :o

But it would rock if it existed, wouldn't it??

"Blood is flowing, all around me
Klingons slaying, having fun ..."

^ I was referring to Llanita's post. I don't think anybody would ever make a Klingon Christmas song. *shudder*

EDIT: Llanita, you beat me to it. I guess I've got to learn to type faster. :)

I completely agree with you there. Combs made an excellent villain, both on DS9 and ENT. I never cared much for the character of Brunt because I don't like "Ferengi episodes" in general, but Combs' portrayal is the only thing that makes me watch episodes that are Brunt-heavy. Combs is Trek's best recurring actor, IMO.
