:D Got my Red Dwarf series 7 DVD's today. While not my favourite season, it has some enjoyable episodes. There's some great extra's too.

Any fellow Dwarfers here? :D

*raises hand* My local PBS station used to show Red Dwarf. But that was years ago, so i haven't seen them since. Although when i did see them, they were pretty funny. *takes a bottle of blood wine*

I got a copy of Romulan Love Slave. It is just like Vulcan Love Slave except you don't have to fast forward as often to get to the pon-farring...

:guffaw:

Have I mentioned lately how much I like you???

This might be another sig-line waiting to happen.

I can't help but wonder, am I the only one here that watches Lost and Futurama? Or are you guys just ashamed to admit it? :)
I'm also going through my huge porn collection as I'm writing this (that's multitasking for ya). It seemed to be the only natural thing to do because I'm not wearing pants right now.

peace

I'll admit to nothing! I'm going to get Lost on dvd, but as it is now I barely have time to watch anything, yet I get nothing done.

As for the porn. I suggest you build a Great Wall out of it. Remember: It is only smut if you share it with others.

Cool. You get the DVD's in the US don't you? I reccomend them. They've done an amazing job on them. The extra's are superb and put many higher budget series to shame.

The commentaries are with the whole of the main cast and the repartee between them is hilarious.

Plus season seven has Chloe Annett in and she is super

^ Yes. We get the Red Dwarf DVDs in the States.

Two series a year come out - usually in February.

We have thru series 6 out on DVD here. 7 & 8 will no doubt come out in February, if the past 3 years are any indication.

They made THAT big of a mistake? Putting the Babylon 5 station on the S:AaB episode menus? Wow! That's a pretty big gaffe. Wonder who's head is gonna roll for that one!

Probably none ... I think Best Buy is obliged to make crap, no? BEsides .. combined with efforts from FOX ... doomed combination ....

I wonder when the NON-Best Buy edition is coming out?

I really wanna see this show...but I'm not all that excited about going out to buy defective disks.

I think it's already been out in Canada. Amazon lists November 8 as a release date, so it should be out there now. Rumour has it that Amazon is now selling corrected versions ....

Hmm... this place has gone awful quiet lately... :(

Yeah, I think the novelty of the new thread has started to wear off....we need a good topic to jump into conversation....

I plan to watch the Firefly premiere this weekend (borrowing the DVD from an acquaintance of mine...if I like the first episode, hopefully he'll let me borrow the whole set!). I've heard wonderful things about it but haven't seen any episodes. I wanted to see Serentiy in theaters but decided I should watch Firefly first.

To be honest, Firefly doesn't do it for everyone. It's a little weird at first, but I think it's safe to say that if you liked "Buffy" or "Angel" there's a good chance you're gonna enjoy it.

peace

Hey bar flies, pass me a Tamarian frost,

After watching S4-7 of Voy in a row, I've been watching Family Guy, South Park, 30 days and futurama on my pc, Arrested Development, Simpsons, Red Dwarf, sopranos and other assorted movies on dvd, and sporadicaly on tv frasier, boston public [when I'm up that late], letterman, [Again late], Mythbusters, stargate, [when its on, late again], Amazing race, [Before stargate] and 24, [yes on late].

All good shows on Australian TV are on late, otherwise your reduced to watching, reality tv or Crime shows, or doco's on the public channels.

I also remember S: AAB I think they showed the first couple of eps on Aus Tv, then canned it or moved it to after midnight.

Cheers

Dave

^ I have no idea. :D

I found out that it is. Serenity I is going to be airign tonight. I think I checked the schedule though that after the two parter, Firefly is going off the air. Pity they couldn't have it as a daytime rotation thing like they do with other shows.

Yep, the after-midnight thing is what happened - the usual story with SF in this country. Good thing we have DVDs to take up the slack in these matters.

I just finished watching a Farscape episode that I hadn't seen in a long long time, The Way We Weren't. I forgot how great this episode was, and how much this really was Farscape's Inner Light or The Visitor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the only episode where Pilot was the focus of the story, next to Aryen of course? I wish we would have gotten another one, but this one was still a classic. I miss Farscape, especailly it's best season: Season 2. :(
