To be honest, I don't believe they don't ever get headaches, rather they can treat them very quickly and easily.

Well, my headache went away, so i don't need it anymore. Still, just in case, where's the infirmary?

I watched The Storyteller and Progress last night. It was nice to see the start of the O'Brien/Bashir friendship. I love those two together.

I also really like those episdes. I particularly enjoy Progess for the Jake/Nog storyline, but of course O'Brien/Bashir is great!

I got ENT season 3 on DVD for my birthday (in September) and am just now sitting down to watch it. I've watched like half the season in about a weeks' time (have had an amazing lack of things to do lately!). I'm enjoying it more than I did the first time around.

I've got Bablyon 5 on my netflix queue now. :-) Don't know exactly when I'll start watching it though, because I use my parents' queue and they live in Minnesota, whereas I usually am in California. At the latest, I'll start watching over Thanksgiving weekend when I'm in MN, but hopefully I can get to the DVDs sooner than that.

Wow! Even more newbies! Excellent! As tomalak said, this thread is starting to feel like the old days again! I'm SOOOOO pleased to see so many new folks hangin out here! :)

Kevsthaman and Steven, thanks for clarifying the history of this thread. At this point, these threads feel like an institution around here (well, I guess they are - one has been running continuously since before season 1 came out on DVD...so figure January of 2003!) That's a long time!

CrazyMaryT, I'm really curious about Foyle's War. I've not watched it yet, but I'm curious. When is it on? I might check it out.

BigFoot, how is Shatner on Boston Legal? I heard he was actually really good! I used to be a huge fan of James Spader when I was younger. He used to play SUCH bad-boys!

stkids, you will have to keep us posted here in this thread about your impressions of B5. Shoot...that might even get SB spammin' up the place! ;) When Steven watched B5 for the first time, he reported his progress and it was really fun to read about it and be excited for him, seeing the show for the first time!

Glad everyone is having a good time!

I do not spam. :p Hmpf - being vilified by green people.... :scream:

But the more people who discover B5 the better. Stick with it, stkids. This is the place to talk about it.

I knew it was my name on the title that stunted the old thread. Minute you get a new one y'all start posting like there's no tomorrow. Hmpf. :p

Both Shatner and Spader are absolutely amazing on Boston Legal. They're such a treat to watch. I could honestly watch one hour of TV every week if it only revolved around their two characters. Unfortunately other people need to get screen time too lol. :D

I really wish I saw that Fishing episode. I saw the one last week, and yes there is a reason why both of them win emmies. They are amazing together.

:guffaw:

I knew that would get you posting.
Does this qualify as baiting??? :p

So no one around here has seen Space: Above and Beyond, then? :p I should also add that I recently watched the last two seasons of Farscape and PK War, and as a result I've rediscovered my inner 'Scaper. Great series.

As for anything else... Lost is about the only show that's recently turned up in Australia that's caught my attention and kept it. ;)

Yep, another pairing that I love.

Anyone got any self sealing stembolts. :D

Me, me, meee! I was just kinda tired and not feeling posty when I saw you post about it last night.

I liked it a great deal - it was a bit on the romantic/heroic/idealistic side (big surprise there, when you think where the recommendation came from! ;)) but it was tremendously well done.

I snivelled a tad bit at the ending...

*SHOCK HORROR GASP*

I wouldn't know :D :p

To get to the actual point of the thread for a moment... I recently discovered Space: Above and Beyond and I like it. A lot. Thanks to the vagaries of Australian television where SF is concerned (I'll be good and spare y'all that rant) I didn't get to see it all those years ago, but I kinda wish I had. Another good series dead before its time. Anyone else around here seen it? Liked it? Hated it? Indifferent?

I saw it ... :D I loved it ... :D

MWAHAHAHAHA  Wuss :p

I'm introducing everyone to the wonders of SAaB

1. I think Space Above and Beyond is supposed to be coming out on DVD in the U.S. It's on my 'to get' list as I've heard it's really good.

It might even be out already (I've not been to Best Buy in a couple of weeks). If not, it will be coming out shortly. Either way, I'll be getting it, and then we can compare notes, SB! I'm looking forward to it!

Best Buy released it a couple of weeks ago. But it has the B5 station in the menu (although I love B5 .. I'd rather not have it there ;) ) and I think the 2nd episode contains errors on every DVD out there (production error). I'd wait at least for the NOT Best Buy release. As far as I know it's the same, but without the Best Buy craptacular name to go with it. Don't know if they've solved the issues though. And it still has nill extras.
But it's definitely a show worth watching, especially I think for Niners, who are familiar with teh darker aspects of TV-shows. I've showed it to most of my friends as a sort of reference to who AA is :D

I haven't seen BlackDog hand in her report though!

Geez, who would ever have guessed? You're always soooooooo subtle about it. :p

No idea who you mean. Be more specific. :D

It's a show I think I'm going to be revisiting a few times. Eventually. :D

I saw S:AAB when it was first on Fox, but it's been so long ago that I forgot what it was about.

I named my dog after one of the characters, didn't I? That's as good a report as it gets :p

That was after the first half ... way back :p
You've now seen one of teh best episodes EVER! "The Angriest Angel"

I'm trying to figure out what I actually watch on TV at the moment... and other than re-runs of DS9, TNG, VOY and SG1 I'm not watching anything!

Stargate Atlantis is on at the moment too, but I can't get into it. I'm just not interested in the main characters. I like the secondary ones though, the doctor and Rodney - so I'll occasionally watch it if they happen to be in the scene when I switch on!

what's this bar like for hot drinks? Is that a kettle I see - I'll be making myself a mug of tea then, I brought my own tea-bags. Anyone else want one while I'm up? :)

^Ooh, yes please :D

Thought I'd try and post more often in this thread, meant to in the last one, god only knows why I didn't!

Also don't really watch much on TV, CSI, House ususally (but the series has now ended), did watch Lost, but got tired waiting a week between episodes so I bought the DVDs. Also just got the first series on DS9 on DVD, so will be watching them soon. Its been ages since I saw any so I'm very excited to get them through :D

I was able to catch series 3 on PBS back in Sept and my library has the first two series on DVD. I'm hoping PBS replays series 3 sometime soon. The writing and the cast are really great. And having Michael Kitchen as the lead doesn't hurt either. :D

They made THAT big of a mistake? Putting the Babylon 5 station on the S:AaB episode menus? Wow! That's a pretty big gaffe. Wonder who's head is gonna roll for that one!

I wonder when the NON-Best Buy edition is coming out?

I really wanna see this show...but I'm not all that excited about going out to buy defective disks.

And CrazyMaryT, thanks for the info. I'll start paying attention to PBS for that! :)
