Arrow - The Final Season

Wow, I knew from pictures that had been posted online that Mia was going to be in the present for the Crisis, but I figured it was going to during Crisis, not this soon before it. So I wonder all of them will stay in the past for Green Arrow and the Canaries or just Mia?
Really liked seeing Thea again, I've missed her.
Having her and Talia al Ghul restart the League of Assassin's as a League of Heroes is a cool idea. Honestly, if the actresses would be up for it, I think I'd be more interested in that as a spin-off than Green Arrow and the Canaries.

The preview for next week's episode

Showed that some of the Deathstroke gang were also sent back in time

Best part of this episode was the ending. Up until this point, the future had zero relevance to the entire show. Of course, given that we have seen future versions of Rene and Dinah, they now have to deal with a lack of explaining about this adventure, but I guess that is the case only if Mia and company do not return to the future.

Future Star City sucks. Maybe this storyline can change it. Of course, this is a bit like Nora last season on Flash, but I love time travel stories enough not to worry about that.

I just randomly started thinking about Arrow after trying to come up with a theme song for the character of Felicity, and have realized that I made a mistake in trying to consume it as part of an interconnected franchise and should have instead viewed it - and ultimately judged it - on its own merits, something I plan on correcting once Season 8 finishes (using both my own DVDs and Netflix).

As am I, because, despite having given up on watching Arrow week-to-week, I've always liked Felicity as a character.

Not only that, but she is pretty integral to the show. To not have her in the series finale would have been pretty disappointing.

Yeah, like or not, she's a huge part of the show, and it would have felt kind of weird to not get at least one appearance from her this season.

I suppose it wouldn't be Arrow if the worst thing to happen to the show didn't make one final appearance. then again, I have no idea why she isn't in every episode this season (not counting the episode that took place on another Earth), so I'll just consider myself lucky that this season has the least amount of Felicity of any season.

i really liek Felicity but nOT what they have done with the character at times.

Would it be fair to assume that Emily BEckett RIchards is in some other TV show or movie, so she couldn't make a whole seaosn commitment? ANd that her final appearance will be relatively small, compared to previous episodes?

More likely they made her a contract renewal offer for the final season, and she didn't like the amount, so she walked. That said, it appears they were still on good enough terms that she agreed to do a guest shot for the series finale.

Just finished episode three.
Am I the only one pretty impressed with Stephen Amell's acting this season sofar?
