Arrow - Season 2

That is pretty close to what she looks like in the comics. It might work in the comics, but not so much on TV. At least in those pictures.

EDIT: I forgot to comment on the episode itself. I really enjoyed this one. It will definitely be interesting to see what becomes of Thea learning about her real father, and Laurel learning about Ollie being The Arrow.
I did not expect the Isabelle reveal, although once it was revealed I realized that it did make a lot of sense.
Up thread someone had mentioned Malcolm helping Ollie fight Slade, but I'm wondering if it will turn out that Malcom is working with Slade in some form. I've been disappointed that we have not seen more of Merlyn since the reveal that he is still alive.
I still keep wondering if

It's a possibility, but I don't think he'd be too happy about Slade kidnapping Thea.

I don't see why Oliver is in trouble?

He found out a month ago and has been a complete #### to his mother since he found out.

Even though this has nothing to do with him.

"How dare you make me love my half sister like she's a real sister!"

"How dare you cheat on dad, when in all likeliness the implied threat of death probably mad it more like rape than making love!"

"How dare you lie to Thea all these years to protect her form the truth, like I am I going to lie to Thea to protect her from the truth from this date forward exactly like you did!"

What the hell was his problem?

What the hall was his problem?

His need to have dramatic conflict at all costs. That's his problem.

Roy can get back with Thea in a heart beat.

"Oliver tricked me into breaking up with you because he thought we didn't belong together."

Slade in the comics was able to take out Kid Flashes Knee Cap with a shot gun, not because his instincts and reactions were superhuman but because his brain, which uses 90 percent of it's potential, was able to calculate/anticipate where Bart was going to be standing when the spray collided with his leg... Hey! That's from Futurama! "Shoot where the space invaders are going to be, not where they are now."

Where the frak is this Flash series i've been hearing about?

That's what she said. [yt]http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bcYppAs6ZdI[/yt]

How much of tonight's episode was pulled from the Dark Knight series?

- Ollie loses everything.

- Slade breaks into the batcave and attacks Ollie and the gang.

- Lance is beaten and laid up in bed where he says that the Arrow is the man the city needs him to be.

- Slade is shot and knocked back about 20 feet.

Number three definitely. Two could be deliberate, but hard to say. Four is almost certainly a complete coincidence, not a reference. One? Maybe. Green Arrow in the comics did lose his entire fortune, so that could be what they're going for (although I personally think letting him keep some wealth is necessary to explain his resources). Really, being a superhero isn't for poor people. I can't think of anyone besides Spider-Man that does it that way (and he's mostly biological, just having to spend money on clothes and webbing).

Arrow is heavily inspired by the Nolan Batflicks imo.

Speaking of the (previous) episode, was Deathstroke the first time we saw Slade has a delusion following him, commenting on his actions both on the island and in Starling City?

(Yes, I've missed a few, here and there.)

Or is the delusion, comic canon?

Help!!!!

My feed failed at about the 45 minute point. Ollie was just circling the lab with the people getting fed Miracuru, and saw Roy. Cut to commercial, and I lost everything. Can someone give me a synopsis? Please?
