Agents of SHIELD - Season 2 Discussion Threads. (Spoilers Likely)

Am I missing something about Ronan's armor? I don't see anything that looks like the writing on AoS.

I don't see anything that looks like the writing. However, the markings on Ronan's armor match the markings on the dead Kree. Presumably, the dead Kree is connected to the writings his bodily fluids seem to inspire.

They're going to use Extremis on Fitz and then he'll uncontrollable mutate into M.O.D.O.K. and then finally admit his love for Jemma after his balls have shrivelled up and receded into his neck..

My guess, as this is a Joss Whedon show, is that Fitz will expose himself/volunteer for a procedure that will enhance him in some way in order to save Simmons from some diabolical threat... but something will go horribly wrong. And, although Fitz is able to save Simmons, Simmons will be forced to put Fitz down before he becomes a threat to the world.

I don't see that they even vaguely resemble one another...sounds like people are reaching.

What would happen to Fitz if you injected the Leader's cerebrospinal fluid into the Brit's doolally cerebral cortex?

If you made a human Sandwich where Fitz is the meat, and the bread consists of Coulson and Sky... His brain would be pumped full of Kree resources and system upgrades beamed from Hala by the Supreme intelligence.

Although, I find it difficult to rationalize why they would be laying on top of each other like that.

Every thing I just described. Sure, why not?

Careful-- that might be how your obsessive-compulsive pal was created.

When was Fitz replaced by a Skrull?

Did he even met these people before he was frozen in carbonite?

Sorry, you can't say "Skrull" in this thread. I hear the sound of attorneys circling.

I was actually thinking that Lycanthropy might be the answer.

If the transformation is even a little bit about science, the wolf turning back into a man is going to be built from the map indicated by his DNA, and not what he looked like contingent to what had happened to him "recently" before the last transformation.

Almost never doing anything useful for the wiki as a whole and generally creating more needless work for everyone else that has to clean up after them.

That's the "obsessive compulsive control-freak" I mentioned earlier.

This guy had an absurdly narrow focus. Liked to make two sentence articles about things that nobody would ever look up and just served to clutter up the joint. Then got into blazing rows about naming conventions. Ugh!

I don't see that they even vaguely resemble one another...sounds like people are reaching.

I can see it going both ways honestly. On the one hand the painted marks on Ronan are broad and lack the detail of the markings seen in AoS.

However the cross-hatch pattern of the markings is reminiscent and both occurrences come closely associated with a blue skinned alien. It may be a reach, but it's not *that* far of a reach. Also, remember that it's all just speculation either way.

The best I can say is that there is a possible aesthetic link, but it's far from conclusive.

Fitz is a criminal like all Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D.

If they stuck him in a hospital, they'd have to pay/waste human resources guarding him 24/7 in case Talbot shows up trying to milk his brain roughly for information on their whereabouts.
SHIELD still has medical resources, as evidenced when Fury showed up to pluck Fitz and Simmons out of the ocean. He really needs to be hospitalized for his own protection in his current state. They certainly shouldn't be letting him loose in the lab without supervision-- unless they're just letting him play with harmless toys and he only thinks that he's working.

If they had Secret Hospitals that no government knew existed or that said governments was paying for, after they figured out who was Hydra and who was not, sure.

What if they Deathloked him?

Honestly, I kind of thought that's what we got at the end of last season. Having him alive and (mostly) okay sort of undercuts the sacrifice he made for Simmons at the end of last-year.

^Still not seeing anything on Ronan that looks like what's on the alien.

It's easier to see on the toy because it's brighter:

Proof that it is in the movie as well.

I see something like that happening, as well as Simmons being caught by Hydra after the catch her using powers (maybe flying due to that Chitauri virus that she "cured")

He is being monitored and they gave him an easy assignment, identify the metal's properties, but they gave him a hard one too, create cloaking tech. I figure they're hoping for a recovery and there's not much more a hospital can do for him, other than straitjacketing him and putting him in a padded room.

Yup, that's Joss Whedon alright.
