So what's the timeline with Captain America movie? Next weeks episode and then Captain America movie?

Movie is opening on this wednesday here.. So having little bit of an problem. Do I wait one week for a movie so that it fits with the SHIELD or just go see it this week. Maybe I'll just trust that the movie and series affect each other same much as Thor movie and corresponding episode (pretty much nothing) and just go see it on wednesday.

There's no way I'd put off watching the movie. I'm seeing it tomorrow night.

Ign posted some highlights from a panel the cast and producers did.

Jeffrey Bell said : "they actually have some very longterm plans for the series, not only saying they know where Season 2 would go, but, “We know where we want Season 3 to end… and we know which character will still be alive, because this is a Joss Whedon joint.”

So for those of you who don't like certain characters, well, they may have a limited lifespan.

April 8 is the Captain America tie-in.

Eh, see it right away. It'll mean your timeline is slightly off, but that's not a big deal. Better than getting suddenly very busy and not seeing the movie until after the episode airs.

As we saw with the Thor 2 "tie-in" episode, they're not going to spoil the movie for you because they know that not everybody sees the movie in the theater. I believe the SHIELD episodes are actually a prequel to the Winter Soldier movie. Maybe the movie takes place between Season 1 and 2?

I have some doubts that it'll be as spoiler-free as the last one given the significant SHIELD presence in the movie. I doubt they'll just be cleaning up Helicarrier pieces in the Triskellion this time around.

Ah, but if the entire arc is a prequel, then it's not spoiling the events of the movie because they didn't happen yet! ;)

^I don't think it's a prequel. With the pilot tying to Iron Man 3 and the link up with Thor:TDW, it feels like they're going to coexist, unless Captain America:TWS and Avengers:AoU are in the future.

I don't think that they're suggesting the entire series will be a TWS prequel, just the current arc of episodes connecting to it.

What would be really out of the box(if only cause of the actor involved) is if the Clairvoyant was Alexander Pierce!(Robert Redford, CA:TWS)

If Redford was intrigued enough to want to do that, then I doubt expense is going to be an issue.

That said, I'll be surprised if that happens.

A report on a Q&A from PaleyFest.

A few interesting bits, but largely stuff we already know. The best part, however...

"Loeb said, also informing the crowd that the run of episodes starting April 1 will be seven installments uninterrupted by repeats, all the way through the first season finale."
YES! No! More! Repeats! :p:lol:

Oh, yeah! And this...

(Ming-Na) Wen's pitch for Skye to be revealed as the love child between Thor and May (mainly for the chance of filming flashback scenes, she joked),
:guffaw:

If that was true then May could really hold it over Ward that she isn't the sort of person that gets carried away by a little immortal strange like he is.
