It just hit me today that its now been 7 years since Enterprise actually left the airwaves. It was a tumultuous journey for such an ambitious project from Star Trek, and it could have been glorious if fucktard UPN didn't interfere from the get go. It started strong, stayed strong for the first half of the 2nd season.. and then trailed off into oblivion. Even a strong fourth season couldn't save this beautifully crafted show. I'd say the production values of Enterprise is still quite unmatched even today.
I know the show doesn't enjoy the mainstream media attention like TOS or TNG. Nor does it have the deep cult of D29 or even the infamy of Voyager. What it does have though is the best series opener of any Trek till now, and the fleshing out of the Andorians as a full fledged race on screen. The Ship itself was a thing of beauty, the cast also the best looking of all other Trek casts. The storylines, some engaging, others drab, like the Trek shows that preceded it.
All in all, bad or good, I enjoyed every episode. I stuck from the beginning till the end. Yeah.. the last episode still sends me on a fit of rage but hey.. they tried LOL. I have never been ashamed to say I was, and am, an Enterprise fan.
Rest in peace, Captain Archer and his crew. You guys are sorely missed.
