That wasn't real weight gain (Perhaps that's what you meant, but, it looked like you were indicating the actor really did gain all that weight),
Yea, I noticed after I posted that it read it too fastThat wasn't real weight gain (Perhaps that's what you meant, but, it looked like you were indicating the actor really did gain all that weight),
Yep, that's what I meant. It's a bit awkwardly phrased, but I tried to say that the character had gained weight and the actor hadn't.
I just wanted to cite it as proof that adding weight to an actress to match her appearance from a few years ago should be easy enough from a technical and budgetary standpoint.
Forest, as in "Forest of the Dead"? Which has a 'River' inside it's computer and a Diary lying around. .
A friend in another forum said this:
That about says it all.The doctor is having the best mid life crisis ever. He has a young chick, a Mrs. Robinson, and his hotrod turned into a hot chick.![]()
Was this scene editted out of the BBCA version? Either it was or I somehow missed it. I didn't see any past companions.
Mr Awe
It was an unreleased scene on the DVD set.

Tate has dropped a ton of weight and looks nothing like she did while filming for the series.

For the non-BSG fans both pictures are the same character played by the same actor. The character has gained quite a bit of weight off-screen while the actor hasn't. The extra weight is all in-story and courtesy of the make-up department. Adding weight is, relatively speaking, a cheap fix and not a problem.

I prefer the shot of him “wearing” a towel he’s rather strategically holding in front of himself. It’s when D’Anna is interviewing him. IIRC, Lucy Lawless said it was pretty distracting.
Don't we all?![]()
And he gets to wear fez'es, don't forget. (Hey - there's no fez smiley. I want a fez smiley!)

Fez Smilies are cool...
Oh I deserve a slap for that.
This might be an obscure reference but does anyone remember The Lexx movie "Eating Pattern" that aired in the late 90s on Show Time? Well, this episode definitely gave me that Lexx vibe which is a very cool thing.

Come to think of it, so is the line 'I like biting, it's like kissing but there's a winner.'
