Re: SFX Wedding of River Song Review, SPOILERS

You know I'm thinking something similar. Or maybe it means "wedding" in that she'll merge with something. I really want to like this episode coming up, I really do. The "game changer" and "not all mysteries answered" items make me think that this is really going to suck. If SM doesn't wrap things up by the end of next season he should be fired.
Why? Why must everything always be wrapped up in a tidy little bow? Its BETTER NOT KNOWING IT ALL.

This. For example, I'm perfectly happy NOT KNOWING what was in the Doctor's room...

Amen. If most of the questions are resolved, I will be satisfied. As long as the answers are all coherent.

Re: SFX Wedding of River Song Review, SPOILERS

I just wanna know why there's a
damaged Dalek in the Tardis.

ok ive done my best to avoid all the spoilers, but from what ive half read on the web, there is going to be some surprises tomorrow.

I do however know about
The Brig

Still im sure there are plenty more to be had.

I may even go get Jelly Babies, im that excited, unless I fancy jelly beans, I do jelly beans.

Hanging out. It airs at 6:05 AM Melbourne time tomorrow morning. Rassilon willing I'll be watching it not to long after it finishes airing...

Re: SFX Wedding of River Song Review, SPOILERS

^I'm wondering if that's some kind of hallucination or flashback or something. Guess we'll find out.

This better be good. I don't want to listen to GB'ers pissing and moaning for the next 3 months!

Yeah, I don't understand the fascination with GB. I've never been there but from the many accounts I've heard, it sounds like a hell hole.

Re: SFX Wedding of River Song Review, SPOILERS

Hard to tell, but
Dalek looks kind of greyish, which was the Dalek's main color in the 70s and 80s. So this might be a paradigm soldier Dalek. Although I thought they were suppossed to be Red?

Nah, it's a wretched hive of scum and villainy. :)

Gallifrey Base (like its predecessor Outpost Gallifrey) has delusions of grandeur. The forum has always tried to position itself as the semi-official Doctor Who forum, and I've heard that they've actually tried to get the BBC's blessing, which serves to explain why they crack down on and outright delete anything that might upset the BBC (and the mods are quite honest in stating that).

Like fanvids. GB fucking hates fanvids. They violate copyrights. So why is there a fanfic forum and a fan art forum...?

It's always puzzled me that OG/GB has required you to register as a member of the forum so you can decide if you want to be a member. "Our members deserve privacy, and they won't post here if there are public subforums. Plus, we don't want the tabloids scouring the boards for rumors." I think both are errant nonsense. I think there's value in someone being able to make an informed decision about whether or not to join before they register, and the tabloids are going to print the rumors they want to print no matter what the source.

There have also been some bad management decisions, like when OG decided that on new episode broadcast days only paying members could use the board to minimize the server load.

GB isn't a bad board, honestly, if you steer clear of the New Series forums. People who complain about GB (like Ian Levine and his weekly rant on Twitter about GB's reaction to the latest episode) are usually only looking at the new episode subforums, where there's equal amounts of extreme episode-slagging and extreme episode-fellating going on. Outside the New Series forums, GB is a bit mellower.

After all, everyone needs to experience the Ben Chatham forum once. :)

Is some of this episode filmed in America? I hope so for consistancy sake, but I doubt it. Still looking forward to it though, and hopefully it does a good job tying everything together.

ive missed the start by 7 minutes, so il delay till tomorrow (or iPlayer) anyways review not coming till tomorrow.

Lovley mention about the Brigadier though god this is feeling like it needs 2 parts.
