Spoilers 31st/32nd Century Ships Revealed

I knew this and it's still exciting.

We've known that since January:

“Capt Burnham & the Discovery are sent to retrieve a mysterious 800 year-old Romulan vessel; until the artifact hidden inside is stolen, leading to an epic chase. Meanwhile, Saru is offered the position of a lifetime, and Tilly’s efforts to help pull her into a tangled web of secrecy.”

This ship has an artefact which contains
the notes of a Romulan scientist who was present in The Chase and kept researching the Progenitors. Might even be that Commander who told Picard at the end that "One day..." :D

We’ve known about the ship for even longer, as it was in a teaser clip released last year.

Sure, but knowing the history of that model it could've been something else, or just be part of the scenery with no story relevance :D
I'm really considering buying the EM model since its importance was revealed.... didn't get either of them because I already have the MM scout, but if this is a major thing, I'll have to get the science ship as well

I want more angles of that Ni'var ship
I'm surprised it hasn't been added to STO yet
Agreed. Plus, they could bring in the RetroDorsal Carrier from the year 3125 as alternate skin if they wanted.
Anyway, I still need two know which of the two Starfleet ships is the USS Janeway.

Remember the USS Credence NCC-2804 from DSC season 4 and 5?
Image: art by Lee Fitzgerald.

The previously unnamed Credence type has received an official class designation in STO:
Credence-class miracle Worker dreadnought cruiser [T6].

STO isn't always a great source, but with ships it could be, just given that there is creator overlap.

STO established the 32nd century Voyager was "Janeway-Class", therefore... it may be assumed that the USS Janeway was the first of her class.

I was under the impression that Cryptic had access to all the digital assets they created for these shows (and vice-versa). These are essentially the same models, but down-poly'd for game use.

Taking STO into account:
1. USS Janeway. Wells class, 31st century (before/by 3050s). From “No Profit But The Name”.
2. Janeway class. Presumably there was a lead ship USS Janeway. 31st century, presumably around 3050s. Perhaps a short-lived career. From DSCs3.
3. USS Janeway. Kirk or Courage class. 31st century to 3190. Presumably launched just before the Burn in the 3060s? From DSCs4.
