Spoilers 31st/32nd Century Ships Revealed

I stand corrected. Although the registry was moved to a different location from the original renders.

And yes, that is the TOS font.

They've done that before though and it didn't end up in the episode. In the trailer for DSC "Battle at the Binary Stars", the USS Europa is shown with its name and registry in the TOS font... only to be changed for the episode.

The guy that did the Eaglemoss Cg work used to post all the cg work on his site, but he took it down awhile back, maybe he'll put it back up now?

I know this is a reply to an old post, but the Discovery orthos from Meshweaver have since been mirrored on the Set Blueprint Archive.

At least one shot of a ship using the TOS font did make it into the final episode. It looks like it was a very late decision not to go with it. There's also the EM model of the Yeager-class, and some key art of the Discovery from just before the series premiere.

Got most before it was taken down, but thank you! Appreciate it.

We've known that since January:

“Capt Burnham & the Discovery are sent to retrieve a mysterious 800 year-old Romulan vessel; until the artifact hidden inside is stolen, leading to an epic chase. Meanwhile, Saru is offered the position of a lifetime, and Tilly’s efforts to help pull her into a tangled web of secrecy.”

This ship has an artefact which contains
the notes of a Romulan scientist who was present in The Chase and kept researching the Progenitors. Might even be that Commander who told Picard at the end that "One day..." :D

That was one of my favorite TNG episodes.

Awesome! This is the first I'm seeing of this - thanks for sharing.
It really sounds exciting. And it's cool to see a classic Trek ship.
