That's true. Wouldn't want another TATV, now, would we?

Actually, it's more like the 25th-32nd century, because the J was from an alternate timeline so it doesn't count. So depending on if PIC ever shows their contemporary Enterprise (either the E or the F), and the Enterprise that's contemporary to the 32nd century (the M probably, if the Excalibur-M is any indication), then that's at least 8 Enterprises whose designs we've never seen!

(of course, the other alternative is that they never built any more Enterprises after the E. But we all know that's no the case, lol.)

I'm not in a rush to see a 32nd century Enterprise, if only because I have been thoroughly underwhelmed with almost every 32nd century starship design we've seen to date. Honestly Discovery's 32nd century looks and feels more like it should be the late 25th century to me; perhaps a century post-TNG, but certainly not three-quarters of a millennium. Everything we've seen so far looks less advanced than the Enterprise-J. GOD FORBID it should be one of the 32nd century Constitution-class ships.

The floating nacelles thing is very gimmicky, especially as the only ship that ever seems to take full advantage of free-floating/transforming elements is Book's ship; and negative space seems such a strange and distinctively Eaves-ian design choice. "Yes, we want all our advanced ships to have holes in them." Or... you could fill the hole with something useful? I just don't get it.

Well, we know what it looks like, hence my point that it looks more advanced than the 32nd century ships we've seen so far.

I think every 32nd century class ship we've seen so far looks worse, with the possible exception of the Friendship-class – the only 32nd century class ship that to me looks like a far future evolution of the traditional Starfleet ship design. I particularly despise the 32nd century Constitution-class, but when it comes down to ugliest ship ever made I have to say that I find STO's Odyssey-class to be absolutely vile too, which I freely admit is the mean reason I won't even entertain it as a canonical class of starship. It having never even been mentioned on screen makes this much easier, of course.

Well yeah, because that's the only condition that would make it canon. It's not canon until it's seen or mentioned.

Though if/when it is mentioned, that only makes the class name mentioned, not the look.

We don't know. We only saw what it looks like. Remember, they're designing cars these days that look old school but can outperform a lot of modern supercars. For all we know Starfleet secretly equipped it with a 13th Gen Sporedrive they were developing off the books and it could jump in between all known universes.
On the other hand, it could have had a silly simple warpdrive that only did Warp 17 on a new scale and it was only called Enterprise because some history buffs kept claiming Starfleet NEEDED an Enterprise. You know, like Star Trek fans do.
