I didn't bother to watch the 24 series finale. Did I miss anything? Was there a killer plot twist that made slogging through it all worthwhile?

The last 3 hours were very, very good. They put an awesome end cap on the series and a pretty mediocre season IMHO.I actually would recommend watching the finale. The ending is left open-ended as you would expect with a movie coming, but I actually found the stuff going on with the Presidents and the treaty signing to be very interesting, which I didn't expect.
