I really like the new cowl overall. I didn't notice that the brow was furrowed until it was pointed out on here. I actually kind of like it, it gives it a bit more personality.
I actually don't mind the ears to much. I prefer shorter ears. Looking at previews of some of the older comics, there was a point in the '90s where they got really long, and it just looks ridiculous to me.

So, is this definitely the movie costume? If so, I love it.

Yeah, it's only the cowl and cape on display at comic-con, not the rest of the outfit. That's a superb fake but a fake all the same.
My favorite short-eared Bats is the David Mazzuchelli version from Year One.
As far as the costume picture goes, I'm guessing it's not the movie costume. Given the fanfare with which they unveiled the first two BatFleck pics, I doubt they'd reveal the whole suit without just as much hype.
That being said, that is one sweet Bat-Suit and I hope it's close to what we'll be seeing in the movie.

Umm, you have that first one captioned "Unknown artist and issue" even though the image says "Greg Capullo" right there at the bottom. And searching for that image under Capullo's name shows that it's from The New 52's Batman #4, "Face the Court, Part 1" (December 2011), written by Scott Snyder and illustrated by Capullo and Jonathan Glapion.
And to be thorough about crediting artists, the chief character designer for The Batman was Jeff Matsuda, and for TB&TB it was James Tucker.

Not sure why Zack did this. Star Wars = Disney = Marvel = lawsuit. If they are feeling punchy enough for a lawsuit.
Maybe someone saw Henry stepping out of his trailer with the hood up on the robe, said he looked like a Jedi, and it all snowballed from there.
Just seems like silliness for the sake of being silly.
