My only problem with the Wonder Woman costume is the FMBs with stiletto heels. That doesn't look at all practical.

Not a bad WW look, I have to say...they could have done much worse.

Wow, absolutely love the costume. Much more faithful than I was expecting, and in many ways I think it even improves on the comic versions (especially in the boots and the "skirt").

I do wish the image wasn't so heavily processed though, so we could get a better idea of the true color.

Thanks Christopher. I haven't read any New52 Batman so I was unfamiliar with the artists and issues. I thought Greg Capullo was just a watermark.

Upon closer inspection you see that it's not a stiletto heel. The lighting makes it look that way. It looks more like a platform boot.

The first image I saw was a grainy one on Twitter, and the heels looked stiletto. I've since seen the high-res picture and gladly revise my earlier impression of the heels. :)

Are wedge heels any more practical though?

She's the GodDamn Wonder Woman, she can fight and defeat anyone while wearing stiletto heels if she wants to.
She's had years and years to prepare for it back on the island.

Not bad at all. The top portion is very close to the current New 52 costume design, as are the enlarged "bracelets" or forearm guards. As for the rest, well, it looks enough like Wonder Woman to be recognizable, but is getting away from the flag-draped look for something more classical.

But yeah, I don't see any combat advantage to wedge heels. And it would be handy to have at least one shoulder strap that's actually attached to the suit.

You know, as much as I would have liked a purer MOS sequel... I can't deny this does look a whole lot cooler.

It'll be interesting to see if we see any shots of all 3 together in costume before the movie comes out. I have a feeling they may want to hold off on that so as to not spoil the big moment in the movie.

I must say Wonder Woman looks very good:techman:
And the lasso is there, too..as it should.
I must confess I did not expect that cool looking costume,
they certainly surprised me in a very positive way.
    One happy WW fan here.

I just hope Gadot will shine in the role also acting wise,
cause she does look the part I must say..

I just noticed the lasso too. It kinda looks more silver than gold.

I've come around to the idea that this makes sense. A super-powered alien shows up, so naturally Batman will investigate right away and other heroes will come out of the woodwork. They won't wait. And we'll be getting a proper Man of Steel sequel later on anyway. I was glad to hear that. They aren't moving away from what they set up in the first movie.

I have to think that the staging of those photos isn't an accident...Wonder Woman between Superman & Batman...assuming they're not going to be so juvenile as to have the men fighting over her, I think she may play the role of making them work together.
