Who the hell calls them that?"Golden Trio"
I don't know, but I knew what it meant as soon as I read it.
I've been thinking about DC's strategy to differentiate itself from Marvel, and I think it may well work. The Disney and Fox movies are starting to blur somewhat, with their hordes of quip-tastic heroes. The grimdark approach may be controversial, but it definitely stands apart from Avengers, Ant-Man, and all that stuff, and may give DC movies some longevity after the Marvel balloon starts to deflate. Suicide Squad is definitely one of the most interesting movies to come along in years, and if Bvs can avoid the simple heroes-vs-baddies plots as well, DC will be well positioned.
Hilarious quote from above-linked article:
"Zack [Snyder] actually loved the idea that there was some Kryptonian script embedded in the suit," he explained. He gave me this fantastic quote he wanted us to translate into Kryptonian and incorporate it into the suit. It sort of deals with the nature of power and responsibility."
