PSKY/WBD could do what Comcast did and spin their respective money-losing cable networks off into a separate company.

A combined PSKY/WBD streaming service would have approximately 200 million subscribers (it would be second to Netflix's 320 million subscribers).

Berman was not above using "crude devices" :

Ah, that time they cleared out engineering and put up a big mirror in front of the warp core for callanetics:lol:

Given the problems I had with DSC and its YA tone, as well as the 32nd century setting, AND the fact that I hate(!) the Pelia character and Ake was announced as being somewhat like her, species- and behavior-wise, I was dreading this new show. But at least the premiere was a super-pleasant surprise. I found it exciting and fun and in the right ST

The Jem'Hadar officer is a pure delight; if they feature her a lot, I'm gonna love this.

Cheronians live up to 50,000 Earth years (literally said in dialogue in TOS, they even specified it was "your years", absurd as it was).

The cadet in SFA only puts us at 4 survivors: Bele, Lokai, Virgil, and SFA cadet, who may have been alive since the 23rd century because with an over 50,000 year lifespan, 900 years is relatively nothing to her.
My new fanon is that Bele and Lokai’s forever war finally ended and the ‘destroyed’ planet Cheron shimmered as the thousands of Cheronians living there dropped their planetary cloak and said, ‘finally, those two idiots are gone, we can stop hiding now…’

It was a just war, won by the oppressed!

Based on the condition of the planet in 2268 it looks like everyone lost and the war cost both sides equally. No "winner," at least none that history recorded and became known to outside societies.
