What If: Captain Riker of the USS Voyager

Now chaps (haha I am so hilarious) what's all this about the grey force? Because I never heard of that. And it sounds dumb.

Qui Gon is my favorite Jedi.. a shame they already had the leading role Jedi planned out and they had to get rid of him.

Or was it Obiwan?

It was about the emotion states of the two Jedi during the fight with Darth Maul while those force fields were separating them.

Quai Gon sat down patiently cross legged and contemplated the universe like Buddah.

But Obiwan and Maul paced, blood riled unable to wait for the next moment they could throw themselves at each other.

(This is something I heard before the internet, before I had the internet, so it might have stayed in the real world until now.)

So, is Obi Wan more like Daul Maul or Qua Gon Jin?

And if he's not completely like neither of them, then dark plaus light equals gray.

Until you have dragged it into this fluidic net existence where it will live forever.

I have trouble with that question because when until I had seen Clone Wars I thought Darth Maul was Sidious's trained attack dog, a killer he was using until his true apprentice was ready. But he is has more agency and intelligence in Clone wars.

Obi Wan is more like Maul in that he is less of a questioner and more of a follower.

I still think it was a dick move of Lucas to dub some fancy British Guys voice when Ray was already packing a working class British Guys accent.

Standards.

Have you ever seen Fanboys?

This 17 year old nerd is dying of cancer, and he's not going to make it to the premier of Phantom Menace... So the nerd and his friends who are just as bad, road trip across the country to break into Skywalker Ranch and steal working print of the movie before release.

Yes I've seen that and it always cracks me up because it is exactly those fanboys who hated on TPM, hated on it until it was pulp.

But I did sympathize with them. I know someday I'll be dead and there will be really excellent television that I will never see and I imagine my kids saying stuff like, "omg she would have loved this.." and getting all sad that I'm missing it.

Odd people pay thousands of dollars to make sure that the radios in their coffins maintain a connection to the local power grid in perpetuity, or more recently probably photoelectric cells on the tombstone...

Given how thin Flatscreens are getting now, and "powering" electrical appliances inside coffins for a duration, is something that has been done for probably the last 30 years, this is the next logical step.

Leaving anyone's corpse in a lavish situation where it can be allowed to watch current fantastic TV as it's invented... But unless you're going to trust technology similar to the predictive features on netflix, you're still going to have to get a human being to look in from time to time to make sure you're not accidentally watching sport.

Or, get jacked into some sort of Scotty diagnostic loop/Matrix/Neuromancer/Positronic Real-Ality, and call the shots for time immemorial...

...teacake will never die...

...reality is for people who cannot handle drugs...

:wtf:

btw Buffy has now massively improved, it is fantastic again but also kind of wrenching.

NO SPOILERS!!!

And according to KIRSTEN BEYER Janeway is some super special key to everything, some constant point in time whatchamacallit thing. So.
