When it tastes like shit, they'll offer up the excuse that, "well, duh! It's what KLINGONS drink!!!". Whatever ... $ave your money and buy a nice bottle of Cocchi Americano - it makes an excellent apéritif.

But surely, regardless of its taste, one could find a suitable gastronomical accompaniment within the pages of this, your most favored of tomes...

Confectionery approved for STAR TREK can only produce the following outcomes: the exploding shits, or fecal impaction, where all the protien binds in the stool and it feels too big to come out. And what does Klingon beer ever hope to offer, complimenting these OFFICIAL, gastronomical delights? A couple loud belches, an aweful after-taste and a cheap, chemical flavouring that will only leave one with persistant halitosis ...

According to what I read, it's not gonna be a chemical flavoured shit like Newton. It doesn't mean it's gonna be good, their Vulcan ale is not well-rated, but it's gonna be typical microbrewery stuff inspired by Belgian (not Stella) and German (not Beck's) styles. Caramel notes in a beer are absolutely natural, it comes from caramelized malt. Cloves are also pretty common.

Great, now I'm thirsty and all I have is 750ml bottles of strong beers (between 7% and 10%). One hour sooner and I would had time to buy something smaller.:mad:

It would be kind of cool if this Klingon beer was something along the lines of a Corsendonk, or even a Scaldis Noel (my personal favorite). :)

    "Good beer...nice house."

You haven't drunk beer until you've drunk it in the original Klingon!

That said, will probably be awful

Damn, none of them are distributed in Quebec. I should ask to a friend who's in private importation club. I know the "regular" Scaldis and she's...:drool::drool::drool::drool:

Honestly, a dunkelweizen with rye malt sounds tasty to me. And it doesn't sound like they're going to be using any adjusts. Not saying it'll taste good, but it's a very interesting idea.
