According to what I read, it's not gonna be a chemical flavoured shit like Newton. It doesn't mean it's gonna be good, their Vulcan ale is not well-rated, but it's gonna be typical microbrewery stuff inspired by Belgian (not Stella) and German (not Beck's) styles. Caramel notes in a beer are absolutely natural, it comes from caramelized malt. Cloves are also pretty common.

Great, now I'm thirsty and all I have is 750ml bottles of strong beers (between 7% and 10%). One hour sooner and I would had time to buy something smaller.

It would be kind of cool if this Klingon beer was something along the lines of a Corsendonk, or even a Scaldis Noel (my personal favorite).

Honestly, a dunkelweizen with rye malt sounds tasty to me. And it doesn't sound like they're going to be using any adjusts. Not saying it'll taste good, but it's a very interesting idea.
