Thanks. Cassidy and Katee together? Wow, that's awesome. I tried watching Longmire when it first came out, but I found it boring. If I had cable now I might at least give it a quick glimpse to see Cassidy's character and to see if I like it better now.

I don't disagree about Summer's acting. I haven't seen many of her roles, but even on Terminator she gave a varied performance when called for. Also on The Cape she had more of a pulse than what I saw in Arrow's second season opener.

About forty minutes to showtime, so I thought I'd move this up front. Last week was good and I'm hoping that tonight ups the ante even more. I'm wondering if someone will actually utter Ollie's new moniker tonight (I mean, the final scene last week might as well had the words 'Green Arrow' plastered all over it).

I think they'll probably just stick with Arrow.

I don't know, to me the visual metaphor last week was loud and clear, but I could be wrong.

To quote Dwayne Johnson, "It doesn't matter what his name is!" as long as we get more Felicity!

Wow, Felicity is hot when she's pissed! Her rant reminded me of how my wife sounds after a day at the office!

And is it just me, or is the teaser act for this show getting longer and longer each week?

I realize that Laurel's upset over Tommy's death, but she seems to be missing the point that the Hood was trying to prevent the whole mess from happening.

Or for that matter, how many times he saved her shapely ass.

Good cliffhanger! I'll be eager to read what others think of this ep once they see it.

Some company next week would be nice.

^ Where's your seventh consecutive post?

I'll jump in. So we see the introduction of Bronze Tiger. Now why does China look like Black Canary?

I find her reaction over the top too, but they have to write in the conflict. I just wish they had shown it a little better.

I get that she saw - I'll start calling him "Arrow" now - leaving when she found Tommy's body. She is feeling emotional and looking for someone to blame, but blaming Arrow isn't rational. He was trying to stop it all from happening, and ran into a burning building to try and save Tommy.

Laurel's irrational blame is driven by her own feelings of guilt. She's directing her anger and blame at Arrow, so that she doesn't have to direct it at herself and at Ollie. She feels like shit for sleeping with Ollie and then Tommy dies saving her life. She doesn't want to face that shit down yet. She will have to eventuallly, but for now it's safer to just hate Arrow.

As far as the cliffhanger goes, I didn't really like it, because obviously Ollie has to get out of this, but he was really stupid to show up like that in the first place.

He is acting emotionally too. As Arrow he is reacting with Ollie's emotions. Laurel dumped them both. Arrow should just move on without any attachment, but he can't. Ollie on the other hand should be one who can't let go, but he just stoicly accepts Laurel blowing him off.

Part of this I like, IF it is meant to show that Ollie is starting to confuse his identity, something Diggle brought up. If this is going to be something they play with, good. But if it is just to throw him in a lame cliffhanger I don't like it.

Arrow was acting like a stalking ex-boyfriend who just keeps coming around asking if things magically became all better. Ollie shouldn't be using Arrow for that purpose, but if this is to explore what going on in his head, it could work.

It's not you...I couldn't get to the show at the begining, but when I tuned in some 15 mins into it, the ''guest star'' credits were flashing by during Act 1. :wtf:

I say Officer Lance will be the one to save Ollie from his cliffhanger some how next week.
I liked Roy and hated Laurel this week. The Bronze Tiger was meh and the show could have worked with out him. It actually made China look weak with him in the show.
The island stuff was again good this week. Distorted skulls are never a bad thing.

My wife loves the show but hates Laurel - but LOVES Felicity, so that's two more things we share. :)

This week felt off to me, after last week's coolness. Bronze Tiger was superfluous to the whole thing, and a waste of Michael Jai White, an actor I actually like.. Likewise China White was not mysterious at all (was more just a generic baddie this time, with no investigation into her employer), and I found myself wondering why the FEMA trucking guys didn't bother with armed escorts, or simply driving DURING THE DAY given how many people and deliveries they were losing... Also, with the Arrow gang splitting their time between the lair and the top floor of the Q building, I wonder how long either is going to last - after saving the day, they obviously went back to the lair to change and get patched up, and THEN they head to the office for the nightcap, and THEN Oliver tells everyone he has actual work to do. Dig's plot felt glossed over too, he deserves to have a bit more spoken about his failed relationship other than to say it happened off-screen.

That said, I still like the show and characters very much, and will gladly continue watching. But sorry Arrow, I have absolutely no desire to buy a Microsoft Surface tablet, despite how much you let MS vomit their product all over your show. :P

And I did like Digs line about his secret identity being a black driver. Very funny.

That was pretty funny. I like that Oliver and Digs can joke about something like that.

This episode had a few flaws (like Laurel's irrational hatred) but I still liked it. I didn't know that the guy with the claws was Bronze Tiger. I've only read a bit of the character in comics, but even realising that he wasn't going to be in a costume, I don't remember Bronze Tiger using hand held wolverine claws. I thought it was just some random minion of the gangster woman. As for the cliff hanger, I thought it was a bit goofy. We all know he's not getting captured like that, so it seems a bit pointless. I'm interesting in seeing where the Black Canary stuff goes. OVerall, I thought this was a solid, entertaining episode.

I mistakenly thought that Ollie had revealed his secret identity to Laurel last season. That's why she decided to let him bang her, knowing he was the studmuffin archer that always came to her. I didn't realize this until later and thought there was a continuity issue with Laurel gettin' pissed at the archer.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
Outside of Driving Miss Daisy, and Paula Dean, that was a really odd thing to say.

And why can't he promote Felicity to a vice presidency of a division that doesn't exist which will still look good on her resume?

Unless her wages tripled, then she should really shut the fuck up.
