LoL! Agreed!
And quite deserving of atoo.
It's true that the vast majority voted that she'd be a good President, but only 4 votes for "better than Obama."
Also: Given the sad news of Dr. Sally Ride's passing away today, I'd like to nominate her for the next Woman of the Week.

Granted, I'm only speaking from my own personal opinion/standpoint here, but I think that's due to people simply wanting to avoid any pro or anti-Obama arguments derailing the thread.
That's interesting, because often the criticism that Obama gets (from the Left, and many times unfairly) is that he's too pragmatic, too willing to compromise, like somehow he can magically overcome all partisan obstructionism by making a stirring speech. Both people are very progressive-minded politicians, but personally, I think Hillary is and would have been far more pragmatic in her approaches to a lot of things, compared to Obama's approach.

Well, first off, let me please be clear that I am stating my own personal opinion here, and definitely NOT looking to start a political argument, so just know that in no way am I trying to troll with this reply.

I'll second that. I had already suggested Jackie Cochran, who organized the Mercury 13, but Sally Ride would be more timely.
I have no love for Bill or Hillary... I believe that any REAL love in their marriage died a long time ago and that their relationship has been one of political convenience and advancement. That in of itself would be reason enough not to vote for her.

Uh, no, not really. In fact that's a pretty terrible reason not to vote for someone.

Agreed. In fact I couldn't care less about my politician's private lives. For all I care they could be terrible people. As long as I agree with their policies I'll still vote for them.
There are plenty of nice guys who behave with integrity but would make terrible presidents because their policy ideas suck.

Just playing devils advocate here, but say, if this man still had the reputation he had, but you agreed whole heartily with his policies, would you vote for him?

That man isn't just a terrible person but also did some shady as fuck stuff with his businesses and media empire which directly plays into his policies so he's not really a good example. I said I don't really care how awesome politicians are in their private lives. At least not to the degree many Americans seem to from what I can see.
