He's hilarious though especially in response to some nasties on that site.
My favorite response of his was to what he was having for lunch. He said something along the lines of, "It's Mexican food. Or is it Indian?"

Very clever.

Nagaland? Is that where the Nagas live that we hunt to skin and make Naga-hide furniture? Here's a headshot roster from a 2007 beauty pageant

"Indian" covers a lot of territory.
True, including the native from Nagaland who looks Korean. Nagaland is an Indian territory. All those far northeastern states have a decided bent toward looking more "Asian" than the rest of India. Even many Bengalis (though I wouldn't call Bengal a far northeastern state - it's still a northeastern state) tend to have higher cheekbones and more almond-shaped eyes than the rest of Indians. But most Bengalis pretty much look like me.
It's really interesting for me to go back to visit. When I was growing up there, I didn't notice any of this. But I notice all the details now when I go back. The country is a veritable cauldron of ethnic mixture.
No, that's Terra Nauga.

I work for a UK company so through our vpn BBC iplayer thinks I'm in the UK so I watched them several times in January, several times on dailymotion later, now I have the region2 dvd for my global dvd player, I will watch Sunday and most likely even buy the US dvd when it comes out! (Oh, dear, I've outed myself even more as an obsessed Sherlock fan--really am a trek fan too!!) SO I don't feel as guilty about the daily motion. Plus I've been a one-stop PR machine with my friends and family and facebook and chatrooms and whoever will listen, so also perhaps making them some money there. : )"Yeah, he has tremendous screen presence.
so you went to the Q&A in NYC? Cool! How was it?!"
Really fun. Amazing to see first 35 minutes of SIB on big screen and with fans Q&A started out embarassing with the Qs but it got much better. He's so smart and funny.
Got his autograph but unfortunately when I got within a few feet had instantly morphed into an awkward mass of mumbling who couldn't look him in the eye! lol
lol I'm like that with The Nimoy. It's all good. Glad you enjoyed the Q&A. And now I feel doubly bad having already watched Season 2 via dailymotion
I'll be DVR-ing it though.
So I dont know if this was brought up yet...but if Khan IS in the movie, why is no one mentioning that Ricardo Montalban was not a Sikh...he was Mexican!
RAMA
Of course they are........even though they confirmed it, just like the other spoilers mentioned....in that same article.
Hmm, well, they say this at the very end:
But of course, like with the Nimoy report, these reports are still officially rumors as nothing has been confirmed by the studio or anyone associated with the film.
Always an out...![]()
Nope. Anything unconfirmed is *officially* a rumor. A common disclaimer, means nothing.
Everyone involved knows its Khan, and have for months.
When in doubt, backpedal, and deny, deny, deny.....
Well, no one's being fooled except those who find security in adopting a reflexive pose of skepticism - and they're fooling themselves. It'd be funny if we were all being punked....yeah, no it wouldn't.

And Trekmovie's not doing that, as has been demonstrated. You have a point?

Oh okay. Thanks Legion. So that means Nimoy hasn't filmed his scenes. Or that they're still working on the editing of it.
I might believe Trekmovie.com if they weren't so Khancentric.

What you're willing to believe is independent of what is.
I wanted Ray Liotta. You wanna hear something funny? Bruce Greenwood looks and acts nothing like Jeffrey Hunter. And yet I can't recall reading a single post (even from the Abrams-haters), that complained about this, or even tried to make any kind of comparison between the two.
Well, rumor has it over at Trekmovie that there was going to be a scene where the Botany Bay was floating around, so there you have it.

They'd better stick with the original design, then, if it's going to appear on camera.
