Ah. I stand corrected.
I hope she's not an Atlantean again.

Action Comics and Justice League are set in the past, the Green Lantern, Batman and LSH books are all continuing without a reboot. DCU Presents, Green Arrow and Hawkman are picking up where Brightest Day left off. But for everything else, yes, it will be more of a reboot/restart. They are basically keeping the books going that were financially successful for them and restarting everything else.
Also, rumors are that Action and Detective will return to their original numbering.
Now you know what us "Modern" age readers who liked Kyle andIf the Batman titles are staying more or less the same, it's kind of sad that they're forcing Dick back into the role of Nightwing so soon. I was starting to like him as Batman more than Bruce, especially his interactions with Daiman.

Wally and the rest went through when DiDio decided to go back to the "Silver" age...
It was working as fine as it needed to with a few exceptions but that's true for 80% of the DC stable. Batman, JLA and a few other titles always worked and others see fluctation. Now you know what us "Modern" age readers who liked Kyle and

Well, if it had been working they'd have kept it.
I totall agree with you. Hal Jordan was one of my favororites growing up and reading the GL comics. I was shocked to say the least when Emerald Twilight was issued and thought just how is this gonna work? Hell I even have Vol. III Issue #50 with the glow in the dark cover still bagged up. But as Kyles story progressed I think he became more interesting to me than Hal ever was.It was working as fine as it needed to with a few exceptions but that's true for 80% of the DC stable. Kyle and Wally as the headliners weren't doing any worse. Only editorial edict cried they must be replaced.
Blackest Night, Flashpoint are stories that easily couldn've been done with Kyle and Wally. The simple fact is like Quesada at Marvel they weren't interested in them and wanted to resurrect their image of the characters. All else be damned.
Hal and Barry were killed cause they boring, lets not forget that. The Hal they've resurrected has been given a personality shift in order to keep up. That isn't the exact Hal that died, at least not the ones I have from the 80's.
Just goes to show you that he was more successful than you like to believe, Dennis....Now you know what us "Modern" age readers who liked Kyle and

Really, it was nice of Johns to not just wipe Rayner out of continuity; the cost in good will could not have been much one way or the other.

"Since his return" that wasn't the point.^Hal sold more comic books since his return than Kyle ever did in the ten years that he was the star of the main GL book.

Blackest Night? Not with Kyle. He never had the issues with death that Hal or the connections with Sinestro and Abin Sur.
