Know what, i'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the episode.... to Hades with trying to nitpick and all that, i'm just gonna have fun and enjoy the last 2 hours of smallville

I'm going to attempt the same. It is, after all, our last outing with this show and these characters. After the week I've had, I just need to have fun on some level, so I'll hope that things are better than we're afraid they are.

As I've said before, we can always provide our own entertainment!

:techman:

Well it looks like this thread has been put to death, so I'll say whooroo and I'll had a barrel of monkeys. See you on the other side!

^That would have been awesome... and way beyond the writers on Smallville. Although here's hoping hoping they've been saving up $$$ by playing it safe this year.

Totally beyond the capability of the writers. I agree. I am hoping they gave the finale some extra cash to spend but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They interviewed one of the producers at TV Guide's website. He talked about how Superman can do anything and that it was tough to give him flaws. Well, I will say TPTB succeeded beyond their wildest expectations in giving Clark flaws. As a matter of fact, they did their job too well. Whiny, gutless, insecure, indecisive...the list goes on and on in regards to Clark's flaws.

So...we are a little over one hour away from the series finale of Smallville. Despite my many complaints, I will miss this show and really miss these chats. As much as we're losing shows, we're losing chats too. My expectations aren't high for the finale but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm definitely looking forward to Michael Rosenbaum's return the most. It's going to be awesome having Lex back. Looking forward to him finally interacting with Tess and coming face-to-face with Clark. Their interaction was always compelling to watch. It'll be great seeing Chloe, Lionel, Martha, and Jonathan one more time too.

I couldn't give two shits about the wedding. I would have been more than happy if we didn't see it because I always thought that would be something that came later. Though outside of these boards, there are amazingly a ton of Clark and Lois...I'm sorry, CLOIS shippers on the internet. The fact that they are going to waste time playing "Will they or won't they" in regards to the wedding is an infuriating waste of time and a bad way to start off the show's series finale.

My expectations for Clark as Superman are very, very low.

Questions...

-Is Dr. Emil "Gaeta" Hamiliton going to pop up tonight? He was at the bachelor/bachelorett party so it would be odd not to see him at the wedding.

-The most important question of all...who is going to bail The IMMORTAL Pete "The Boss" Ross out of jail? Or do we finally learn that Superman is nothing more than an evil bigot? ;)

The last I heard, Pete 'The Boss' Ross is sharing a cell with a 350-pounder named 'Bubba' who talks like Mr. T and has made Sam his bitch.

Looked over his wiki.

He pleaded guilty, and is now awaiting sentencing in June of this year.

Sam could get 20 years.

All that aside, I recoiled at the mention of his "sex tape" with one of Hugh Heffner's new Girl's Next Door.

A lot of the shows fans would disagree with that Gaith if that was meant to be a serious comment at all which I doubt. The show had a lot of flaws and poor execution most of the time but still managed to be entertaining at times. If the box set wasn't so expensive I'd consider getting it.

I don't like the art style. I don't know why they had to change it. If anything, the use of primary colors of 1-9 fist best here. :sigh:

Smallville: The Complete Tenth Season DVD Extras Revealed!

List of the extras you'd find on the Season 10 DVD.

It is safe to assume these features will also be on the Complete Series discs.

Official release date has been moved to Tuesday, November 8th for both the DVD & BluRay and the Complete Series.

Here's what we'll get:

- Commentaries on 2 Key Episodes
- Unaired Scenes
- Smallville: Coming Home: Cast and Creators Reflect on the Landmark 200th Episode Homecoming, in Which Clark Kent Experiences
- Transformative Events on the Way to His Final Destiny
- My Fathers, My Son: How Clark Kent’s Fathers/Son Relationships Evolved over the Series’ 10 Years
- How Do We Do Music Video

Wow 2 commentaries. Probably from the lemur trainer and craft services guy.

I don't mind the picture they used as it fits the season. However, it is disappointing that they changed the design (ie. the title on the left side of the cover) considering how consistent it was for the previous seasons.
