One of the things in Brian's interview that just doesn't ring true for me is that they're making Darkseid out to be this 'most evil being in the universe'.

Well, that would be great if they had actually shown anything remotely resembling evil over the past oh, twelve or so eps. I mean seriously, what have we got? This bad CGI floating around who looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost after he flew up a chimney. There's nothing that makes me think that DS is The Big Bad, or that this is the biggest challenge that Clark's ever faced. Hell, Granny's fuckin' scarier than DS!

The only thing we've gotten is Desaad at an S&M club.

And I'm guessing they wanted Darkseid to represent the 7 sins etc etc/really evil stuff.

"Supernatural" does a better job at representing a pure evil thing/being.
