Whatever happened to Starship Exeter?

OK, the next (censored) who goes off-topic will get a warning. The thread is for Starship Exeter-related stuff only.

Thanks for bringing us back up, T'Bonz!

DS9Sega, any idea when we can hope to see some behind-the-scenes stuff?

Very interesting! I like the use of the wide-angle lens. Lighting is good. Is that a shot with the camera trucking/tracking backward as the Captain walks forward?
It's a lock-down shot with Garrovick coming down the full length of the corridor.

It is a great shot. As for getting the Act complete, just take your time. If it were all up to me, I'd rather have high quality late than poor quality fast.
Well, the quality is the point. As I've said before, there have been a number of versions of Act 4, but they didn't deliver the goods the way anyone really wanted. Compromises were made that initially caused some material to be cut, but as I worked my way through all the elements I realized the cut stuff could be put back in. This did mean digging through a lot of elements looking for all the pieces, and in that process realizing that we had enough effects elements to actually put together more effects shots than originally planned, which gave me some extra options.

Thank you DS9Sega for all of your hard work. Sounds like progress is being made and that's GREAT.
Who will make to discission to release the last Act ?
Has the ending credits been commpleted?
Is there one more part to post of the "Behind the camera"?
Thanks again!!

That had to have been quite a task. How many elements did you have to go through to locate the required SFX footage?

In other words, more and better show at no extra cost? Bring it on, please. :D

The way this should work is I get Jimm Johnson to give me feedback on my edits and make changes as needed. Then, when that's done, the sound work has to be finished, including mixing, sound effects and then music.

I can't speak to any future productions. I'm actually not interested in playing in someone else's universe, unless it's an original production like Polaris. I'm helping finish Exeter because some of the people who worked on it are friends of mine who want to see it done, and I want to help them get there.

And I'm real interested in having you back out here in May, dude! Everyone missed you last time out.
I am SO there!

Another question that I have asked on the old Polaris boards; is there anything those still following Exeter can do to help?
Not really. It's, at the moment, mostly on the shoulders of editorial: me.
