Whatever happened to Starship Exeter?

OK, serious question:

Does anybody else find it interesting that the TOS Enterprise looks like a head, a torso, and two legs?

So does the Battlestar Galactica, but in a different way. The animal metaphor for these vessels is something that I think aridas sofia used to talk about.

Which gives me an idea for a new adult novelty toy: a blow-up U.S.S. Exeter! With realistic shuttlebay!

Huh? HUH?! C'mon, these things'll sell like hotcakes!

To Expo67,

It's just a personal observation, but I gather that your avatar photo was taken at during one of your more manic moments?

If you are referring to the Sci-Fi Channel's godawful and goddamned remake of the classic space opera, I would concur. Judging by that description and the implicit sexual content in the remake(Galactica 1980 x 2), I wouldn't be surprised.

Ronald Moore certainly has a dirty mind.

Actually, no. It was the only Red Forman avatar photo that would fit(MB or pixel-wise)on my profile.

By the way, which part of Arkansas are you from? If it's from Little Rock, that's a cool place. Gil Gerard is from there.

To quote a certain Vulcan, "That would not only be unavailing but also... undignified."

The contours of both Galacticas are nearly identical.

Is Expo67 for real? His constant admonishments to stay away from dirty thoughts are doing as much if not more than everyone else's posts to keep the thread on that subject. Good going.

I guess we're all going to hell.. Which doesn't bother me because that's where all the good porn is. All they have in Heaven is Playboy and occasionally a Victoria's Secret catalog.
