My favorite part is that he wants a raise from $1.8 million an episode to $3 million an episode for what "they" put him through...
Yeah...he's running out of money...
Well, he does have penguins to feed.

I really think this probably ends with him returning to rehab and staying there for a long time.

I hope so, because, good God, the man needs it desperately. But, like with any addict, treatment is worthless unless he actually has an active desire to get and stay sober. He has the financial resources to get any level of help that he wants -- and he's got members of his family pulling for him. I just hope that at some point, he lets go of old friends, old places and old habits and gets himself into a better place.
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...en-dumped-longtime-publicist-stan-rosenfield/Charlie Sheen has just lost another close confidante, his long-time publicist, Stan Rosenfield.
Just hours after an interview with the controversial “Two-and-a-Half Men” star aired on the Today Show, and following a string of random radio interviews, Rosenfield, who also represents Robert DeNiro, George Clooney, Kelsey Grammer, and Morgan Freeman released a statement confirming that he had severed ties with Sheen.
“I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much. However, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned,” he said in the statement.
After hearing the news, Sheen called Rosenfield a "p**sy."
Rehab won't do shit if the person themself doesn't realize the problem and wants to fight it.. which Sheen is a miles away from.
Rehab facilities, mostly those who have luxury and "celeb" status, are more like time out zones for celebrities to come down a bit after their publicist and family have convinced them they've really gone too far this time and need a step back.
Most however relapse within months (sometimes even weeks or days) so there's that.
Charlie Sheen should be knighted for his services to entertaining the world in these financially tough times, viz:
"I'm on drug; and it's called Charlie Sheen"
It doesn't get better than this.![]()

I actually think he's very talented (although, admittedly I've never watched Two and a Half Men, I'm not into sitcoms). It's just sad that he's going to throw it all away like this. There are great actors out there who would kill for his job/pay and this is how he treats it? It sucks.Someone want to remind me again on why Charlie Sheen is one of the highest paid men on TV?
His dad is trying to find some legal way to force him into rehab, there is none.
^ Where do you live that that happens? It's almost impossible for that to happen in the USA, it's extremely rare. My cousin only went into rehab because he stole from his mother and she pressed charges.
However you do bring up the good point, if someone goes "He is a danger to me" there might be some way for him to get some help. However if it's only 72 hours all that will do is piss him off more and you don't want someone who is so nuts to be even more pissed off at you.

Uh-oh. He's starting to go Michael Jackson on us. Let's hope he doesn't start sleeping with ten-year-old boys.I just checked out Sheen's IMDB and Wikipedia pages - the Wikipedia page currently includes this paragraph:
LinkSources close to Mr Sheen have confirmed that he has adopted two 3 year old King Penguins that he named Otto and Rico. He became enamored with the web footed tuxedos after viewing the Madagascar movie series. At this point the Penguins are his sole confidants ( it is said he does not trust anyone but Otto and Rico). "Loose lips sink careers". Sheen claims. "These two guys keep all my secrets I think they really love me".
To quote Bill Cosby: "Yeah, but what if you're an asshole?". . . I havent come anywhere close to drugs in my life, but assuming they amplify aspects of your personality?
I read somewhere a week or two a go that he had turned up to work, it was initially after he got out of rehab and he phoned some radio show from the set?
