Another great episode. Fringe opened with two fantastic episodes.
Nothing more romantic than making out on a couch with blood trickling from under the doorway.
So if Peter scores with Alt-Liv, how awkward is THAT going to be when the real Dunham comes back?
"Yeah Olivia, about us..."
He's gonna have a talk with "Helo" Agathon about that.![]()
Also Walter now owns Massive Dynamic. Awesome!
So the sciences mentioned in the opening credits are the same for both universes now (wormholes, singularity, transhumanism, reanimation, telepathy, etc.). I wonder if that's a clue about something.
Good excuse by Folivia to explain why she's acting differently. Though I wonder how long her act and ignorance of everything that happened to Olivia can hold up?

Probably not - it may be an oversight. The last time we saw alternative Fringe credits, there were some different technologies and areas of research listed. Here is a clip from the credits last season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzdHu_cCZIA
Note one interesting item: First People. This item intrigued me when I first saw it - But then in this episode the machine is said to use some sort of 'ancient' technology.
- Could some of the machine parts be 'first people' artifacts?
- Are the 'first people' and 'observers' linked?
- Did the 'first people' cause these two universes to split?
- And how long ago did these 'first people' exist?
Interesting questions... Hopefully answered in the series at some point.
Other techs mentioned in this intro clip that I believe are unique to the alt. universe: Hive Mind, Protoscience, Cryonics(?)

Fringe is the best sci-fi series on right now. I just wish more people were watching it. I wonder how the ratings are with DVR viewership added to the mix.
