Why not? If its good, great. If it sucks, the internet gets something else to bitch about. Win, win!
Do you mean 17 years ago? If so, I would agree.
Nah, they should go full geek and cast a former Doctor.
Who?
Really? I can kinda of see that I suppose. Didn't know there ever was a B&T:3 script to be reworked. The original Bill & Ted 3 eventually became Bio-Dome (shudder). Here's hoping any third film is better than that.
Anyway I'm not sure another B&T adventure makes sense for these characters. Older slackers? Older idiots? Ah, heck people watch Jersey Shore so why not.
If Rocky, Rambo, McClane & Indy can all return after 10+yrs and be a hit maybe Bill & Ted can as well if someone cares enough to make a story that works.
The movie will suffer from Carlin's absence, but let's not replace him with someone predictably arch and hip.
Their ages wouldn't be a hindrance, just make Bill & Ted former rockers turned brain-dead VH1 reality TV stars and continue on from there.
I'd watch it.
I think Reeves just wants to do it for fun. He's rich so he can afford to do something for the hell of it.Wow, Reeves' acting career has really sunk that low?![]()
He's worth tens of millions and has been working steadily for the past ten years, and has a $100m sci-fi movie in pre-production, so... no?
That's actually a pretty good idea. I've always envisioned them as aging rock stars like The Rolling Stones, U2, Aerosmith etc., but never really knew where to go with it.The plot would have to involve the Utopian future that Bill & Ted were supposed to inspire.
The first idea that comes to mind is said Utopia never comes about for some reason or another. Perhaps it's because they had knowledge of the future, so they didn't work to create it. Maybe they got too caught up in their fame. Something like that.
Something happens that makes the pair realize that it's all gone astray, so they set out to make it right, most likely by using the booth.
Yeah I read about this earlier today. I loved the first film, the second one sucks, don't really know what they could possibly do with a third film as both actors are older now.
Without George Carlin? Can't say I'm too interested. The second film, while it has its moments, doesn't hold a candle to the fun and humor embodied in the original.

maybe Louis CK as the new Rufus?
You missed my point. Money isn't an issue, rather I meant that the best thing Reeves can come up with for a movie opportunity is this silly rubbish.Wow, Reeves' acting career has really sunk that low?![]()
