I'm not having lucky week with technology. First my car window went (see upthread), and now my washer-dryer has developed a small leak. I've scotch-taped up the relevant bit for now. But this washer-dryer has been on its last legs for over a year now, with the dryer circuit-breaker tripping out intermittently and needing resetting, so I've bitten the bullet and just ordered a new one.
Researching and choosing one was a bloody chore. Now I just have to hope the guys they send to deliver & connect it are halfway competent. Yeah, I know.....

I've been using cheap little earbuds. The difference is daylight and dark. The first time I heard the bass line on one of my MP3s, and it vibrated my ears, I just about lost it. They sound fantastic. Probably the nicest headphones I've ever owned.

My skepticism was unwarranted.
It was delivered & fitted on Saturday. Within the correct delivery window, professionally done and used a couple of times over the weekend and working very nicely. Of course, that probably means I've now jinxed it... but I'm happy so far!
Well worth the dough.
