Well, we finally went out and bought the bed of hubby's dreams. It's a dual adjustable King bed with wireless remotes and a Classic Tempurpedic mattress, extra long (basically, two extra-long twins put together, each with an adjustable independent frame).
It's a DAMN nice bed. I can't wait until it's delivered. But Jesus H. Christ, the price................
$4,985.
Sweet.

We put down 2 thousand and will pay the rest off over the next 24 months.
And this from the man who won't spend more than 40 dollars on a pair of shoes to fit his extra narrow feet!

They are basically gloves for the feet. They weigh almost nothing. No arch support at all. No cushioning. However, the rubber skin does protect the feet well from abrasions and such so I can trot along in grass, dirt, and even a well paved street. It's like being bare foot without having to worry about too many things poking at your foot. Anyplace with large bits of gravel or big twigs, I'd avoid. That stung a bit. Likewise, anyplace where construction is being done. They are great for stuff you'd do barefoot anyway like martial arts. I think the brands original shoe was designed for rock climbers, and I can see how they'd have a real advantage over shoes for that.
I don't think I'd wear them for running all the time because my arches are a bit high, but I like them.
One thing that really surprised me, if I wear them in public, loads of people stop and stare at my feet. Or ask me just WTF I am wearing.
If you try to get a pair, it's best to find a shop that carries them because the sizing has to be exact. A size to small won't fit, and a size to big will slip off.
Does sound a bit filthy doesn't it?
