Keep in mind, that's how it looks from someone's camera off set, not how the actual camera, with the lighting, filters, etc. will record it.

You gone and spoiled it now coming up with an reasonable excuse not to bash the look of it, dam you . In the trailer the Tardis looked fine so am not worry.

I wouldn't worry until we get a better idea what it looks like under camera lighting.

No problem with the new look. I'm sure it looked clean and shiny back in Hartnell's day. Which I suspect is what they're going for.

Honestly, looking a the old prop, I sometimes wondered how some of the ratty old things held together.

I just think it looks too clean and new and featureless--remember, the only reason the TARDIS looks like a police box is because its chameleon circuit froze up on a visit to the UK sometime before "An Unearthly Child." As such, I'd expect it to look more weathered and grimy, both to better resemble a real box and because of all the hundreds of years of hard living it's had since the circuit went kaput. This is hardly a major complaint, friends, just a slightly disappointed observation which, as some point out, might not even be relevant if the prop is lit and shot correctly.

I do approve of the sexy lady, of course.

And I have a feeling Moffat won't keep it pristine for long. It was just necessary for now to justify the sudden change in appearance.

I'm sure if it changed from one old police box to another old police box, nitpicky fans would have taken issue with that too. lol
