My eyebrows, and my pain threshold, thanks you. Good advice re: the frames too, I think. I wish I could get away with thicker frames though; I think they suit you well. I see what your friends say about it making you look serious, but they're also flattering. Keep the thicker frames, but maybe play around with different shapes next time round?

I intend to try a different style next time, although I fear I am a little too much on the conservative/cautious side of things. I really like it when people look interesting rather then collectively boring, which is why I think you should try the custom made glasses you mentioned; but I usually don't jump into that fold myself.

This was about a week ago at Latitude Festival in sunny Southwold - I don't wear glasses but I take every opportunity to borrow other people's!

Those are good glasses, though I think a slightly more pronounced dark frame would suit you better. As for me, I went for black titanium half-rim Ray Bans, which provide the erudite doctor-y look to which I aspire.

Half-rims? They would look really weird on me, but I think they would probably work for your features, yes. Erudite, though? Pushing it...

I just wanted to make really, really sure. After all, glass-less people like you are reading my posts, too, and we all know that the phrase "brainy specs" exists for a reason.
