Agreed. The animation looks almost on par with AOTC -- which either says something good about the CW show, or something really sad about the flick. 
Either way, I'm a big fan of the show, and am looking forward to season 2. The previews look very promising.

That was awesome. I got hooked on the show about mid way through season one, can't wait for the DVD to come out in Nov so I can watch everything. I enjoyed the movie and have become a big fan of Ahoska. Think she was a great idea even though there is obviously no mention of her in Episode III...maybe if Lucas does an ultimate edition he'll film some dialouge or something like that?

Or, more likely, the tech today is much easier to produce something on a smaller budget than it was in 2001/2002, especially since it is the same production company doing the work.

A Mandalorian is appearing next season. Interesting.
The same time that the show started last year- October I believe. *sigh*
The new season looks pretty awesome- based on the trailer. Looks much darker and action-packed. Not that the last one wasn't- in parts- but this looks even more so. Can't wait!!!
Are there any notable Mandalorian characters in the Star Wars universe (EU or otherwise) other than B. Fett, who is still probably too young to be likely to already be a full fledged bounty hunter? I thought that character might have been Durge? He had a similary looking outfit.

there's also Kal Skirata and Walon Vau from the Republic Commando novels, but they're not going to be hunting Jedi.

Oh, it gets better. At the panel they announced that we are actually going to see Mandalore itself.

Anakin looks to kill a Geonosian...which is okay, since they are bugs. Maybe he killed something living in the season 1 finale, I can't remember. Maybe this season will lead into Attack of the Clones...yeah, just to throw everyone off and make no sense.
who is the new baddie, and who is that woman that he kidnaps (she's wearing a dress, and he has her by the neck)?
