This series had better start winning awards, that's what I say.
Especially after how series 1 won awards.
But I liked series 1 too!
I thought it was ok, but in no way does it stand up to series 3.But I liked series 1 too!
my foodness, that was great. Sensibly written too, they would pick the worst performrning school etc.
Tense, clever, sharp dialouge, great score, and Ianto! Great acting from both David-Lloyd and barrowmen all episode imo.
Loved the bit from jacks jaughter "a man who cant die has nothing to fear". Well now he's lost Ianto to....he'll be on the warpath.

I have always hated that idea.They better not.And now for series 4 they can hook up Jack and Gwen.Ianto!how could they at this moment i hate/love RTD.
Jack'll be dead, Gwen'll be dead and Rhys will be the head of Torchwood, and he'll use it to get in to all the best restaurants and get the best food.
He'll become the Transport Caf King.
Emmys, I say. Perhaps a Hugo.

Just checking on Twitter - once again "Torchwood" is the second-most talked about subject, but interestingly "Ianto" is the sixth-most discussed, with "Bruno" fittingly snug right behind "Ianto".

Regarding the virus... It's airborne, right? And Ianto and everyone in the building breathed it in?
Well, I saw no quarantine around the bodies at the end there - so the people who went in to retrieve the bodies have entered a bio-hazard area, and contaminated themselves, or at least brought contaminated bodies into an uncontaminated area.
Plus Jack is now a carrier of the virus.
So... d'you think this'll come up tomorrow? Nah, thought not...

I can't really believe it's the same show at all.
My gods...Ianto! My favourite character can't be dead can he? I'm really shocked did not see that coming at all! I will repeat what I posted in the Day Three thread, Children of Earth has been better than the first two Torchwood series combined! Great everything in this episode and the 456 have been extremely interesting. I love the premise of using the children, everyone forgets about children it seems, I love the opening sequence of Day One...routine mundane morning and the parents not paying attention to their kids lol. This is why I love Science fiction so much you get to commentate on various subjects...
