NBC plans to bring Heroes back for a fourth season

Was there any question as to whether it would come back? It may be terrible, and from everything I've heard it is but I can't say for sure, but NBC has nada. No way they'd cancel this show.
They also have The Office which I believe has ratings as good as if not better then Heroes.

The Office is the only scripted NBC show with a better demo than Heroes.

But even NBC needs more than one show! :rommie:

I watch but no longer enjoy heroes, I keep watching in the hope that it will get better again, but its a small hope that gets smaller each week.

Caitlin never been mentioned again is one thing, but the other girl who was taken away in a van by hoodies, they could at least have given that storyline one line of dialogue to wrap it up.

^Huh ? You mean Monica ? It was resolved. One of the gang tied her up inside an old building and set fire to it. Micah used his technopathy to track her with Niki. Niki went in, even without her powers, and got her out but the building exploded and killed Niki.

That wrapped up Niki's storyline, but as far as we knew, Monica should have still had a story to tell.

And Micah, for that matter.

Micah is Rebel. Nothing this Rebel person has done is even slightly beyond Micah's powers.

They've already revealed the identity of Rebel in the webcomics.

Not Micah. In fact, not any character previously introduced. She's a new girl with the power of flight who probably won't ever be on the show.

They can bring it back, but I won't be watching.

Agreed.

The decline in quality on Heroes is unlike anything I've ever seen before on television - after a nearly perfect first season, the show has descended into utter crap. And even worse, boring crap.
What about Alias? That turned into a craptacular show that began with such incredible promise.

First two seasons of Alias were great. It was a mistake to blow off their premise midway through Season 2. It led to a red-hot second half of the season but the show was never able to recover after that. I would have taken one more excellent season from the show rather than the last three seasons. The last three weren't bad but that show was never the same.

Eh, I've stuck with it this far. I'll probably continue to do so. After a first season of such brilliance it was probably unrealistic to hope it'd maintain that standard, but while I don't find it nearly as bad as some make it out to be there's no doubt it hasn't lived up to (my) expectations. Unfortunate, but hardly world-ending.

(I do find it rather ironic - his involvement in the first season and Pushing Daisies notwithstanding - that I'm looking forward to Bryan Fuller's return. After all, he was responsible for "Spirit Folk" - an episode of Voyager so godawfully hideous it makes the much-bashed "Threshold" look like Hamlet. Of course, he could only have improved from there.)

I figured Rebel was Hana from the webcomics.

Plus I bet the Office is a lot cheaper for them to make (though I'm sure Carell is paid more then any actor on Heroes).

Hana was played by Stana Katic in season one, who's currently co-starring with Nathan Fillion in Castle, which is on another network so it wouldn't be her.
Unless something has changed (I've only read the first printed volume of webcomics) she died and became pure data so it could be her. They wouldn't need the actress.

I'll stick with it at the moment. Not sure when the second half of season 3 will start in Australia. It will probably get a crap time like Lost and 24 do here at the moment.
