Photoshop Enterprise!

OK. i posted this in Trek Art so maybe I'm spamming, but this is my redo of the redo.

I think the fact that the photoshopping so far has been a few piddling changes to make the secondary hull longer and fatter pretty much shows the the naysayers simply want the TMP Enterprise rather than really looking at the design and how good it is.

No telling. From comments on the trailer and comments on the ~20 minutes of footage already shown, it's possible he doesn't (directly) consider TOS canon. And if "current" Trek doesn't consider either (really) canon, perhaps that finally re-unites TOS and TAS in some ack-bassward way.

And if so, will there be a reference to Yesteryear (as Trek XI is not the first time for Spock to go back in time to directly affect his life.

Actually, Rush, we have been, ever since the Enterprise image was first released. Why don't I just merge your thread with that one, and you can check out what some of our forum regulars have been up to? There are also lots to see in the Here it is - no bloody "A", "B" "C" or "D" thread.

The Spockboy one is a nice job, but then he does that a lot.

Ah... I apreciate the thought, but, uh...I have a specific agenda with the thread, not the general "design your own" thread.

So, uh...is it possible to "de-merge" then? If so, please do.

Yes, but many people still don't like the Enterprise. They say it is too bare...and where are all of the banners? Well I had a talk with J.J. and...

I've just been sitting back looking at this. It looks like the McEnterprise! LOL

Ordinarily, I would not even think to having the original episodes "updated" with the new design and so on--but after spending the past four or five days in this forum, I'd pay good money to see just that, especially if it included, in the DVD extras, some footage of some purists at their apoplectic best.

Well the banners you've chosen do not actually look good on this ship.
The red is too bright and they make the ship look less real and more like some photo from a plastic model.

Maybe you could work on it a bit more ?
