As has been explained to you multiple times when you've repeatedly brought the viewership numbers up as a way to dunk on the Kurtzman era - the viewing habits of the public are far more niche and way smaller than they were sixty years ago. You can't cherry pick the viewing data to attempt to claim some moral victory in these arguments. You have to evaluate the entire picture.

There are shows today getting bigger audiences than even in the 60s. There were a huge amount of shows back in the 60s. Lots of competition. Also there are shows making massive numbers even today that rival shows 30 to 60 years ago. The streaming excuse for modern day treks low numbers do not hold water.

Stranger Things. A modern day phenomenon. Much more popular than any Kurtzman Trek and much higher viewership. You shouldn't need proof that the show was a huge hit as long as you're aware of modern day pop culture.

"God tier" is overdoing it. People who were hostile to VOY and ENT during their initial runs have mellowed a lot and become more forgiving of certain flaws and (what seemed at the time to be) puzzling choices. Neither have been transmuted to "god tier" for most of that audience, I don't think, but we've gotten a lot more willing to see the good in them.

It does. Stranger Things was a bona fide hit and a phenomenon. Massive viewership. SNW gets a fraction of the viewership. It not a cultural phenomenon like Stranger Things.

One also has to take into account the fact that Netflix has about four times more subscribers as Paramount plus and about twice as many as Disney Plus.

Paramount has its successes like Landman. Lamdman is a huge success.
