You... Do realize they literally showed us how the Doctor got his bedside manner in Voyager? That's kind of ridiculous of a statement. Zimmerman's appearance mapped onto a holographic frame, maybe is that simple, but the aspects of his personality, every blink or twitch, every raised voice or whisper, every shake of the head would have to be programmed. If we think of the Doctor as like a modern LLM, with the added layer of body language and tone, every movement would be calculated as to the probability of its having a preferred medical response (in this case having a good bedside manner to promote healing). Even if poorly done, it would all be extremely complex programming, given how much more advanced the Doctor is. If I am at all understanding the computer science.
Of course, if the Doctor had a preexisting "soul" that was copied from Zimmerman and transcendentally imparted body language to the holographic output, I guess then it's just that. Star Trek A.I. does seem to have a magical quality.
Did we see anyone cry on Voyager?
Janeway cried multiple times, seven cried, pretty sure harry did once (and a lot in secret over never being promoted)Did we see anyone cry on Voyager?
Memory Alpha article on crying
Wookieepedia is worse.
Is there anything MA won't do an article on?
Holy shit, it's like they actually want people to make fun of them.M-A has a separate article on nipples,
Some folks thrive on a humiliation kink.Holy shit, it's like they actually want people to make fun of them.
They're just trying too hard to be Wikipedia but Star Trek.Holy shit, it's like they actually want people to make fun of them.
That's because the fans are the ones doing all the crying.Wookieepedia also does not have an article dedicated to crying.
Tilly is pretty awful. Fortunately, this turned out to focus on the kids and Picardo; Wiseman was a bit more than an overhyped cameo.
Ugh… I’m not a hater of Academy. I’ve actually enjoyed most of the series so far, but her in this trailer… she’s like nails on a chalkboard.

New STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY Episode 109 Photos — “300th Night”
STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY’s first year nears its end with “300th Night,” and here are new photos from the season’s penultimate episodeblog.trekcore.com
As we’ve come to expect they tell us almost nothing. We only see Ake, Reno and the Doctor on the Athena bridge. Looks like they are taking it out for a spin once more.
Yeah, I think so too. I have taken a closer look at that mid season trailer again, looking out for shots we still haven’t seen with only two episodes to go.I think its the rags costume we saw in the mid season trailer.

You included episode '7' twice, but I'm guessing that the '7' in "theme-heavy character focus" was meant to be episode '5'?So far, Starfleet Academy has essentially three modes:
- Big, bombastic action-adventure (1, 6)
- Theme-heavy character focus (3, 4, 7)
- Light YA drama (2, 3, 7)
I'm guessing we're due for more of pot a this time around, since it seems like we're getting an away mission this go around.
Also, Frakes is directing the final two episodes, so we're in for a treat.
