Looks like this is another US only deal, shows as "not available in your country" for me, kinda frustrating and not like its on a different network to P+ here either.

the reviews i've seen say that the first three episodes are to get the general audiences in, then the Trek tropes start flowing by episode 4. Sadly , some people may write it off after episode 1. I've heard ep 5 is awesome , so that's the one i'm really waiting for .

In a franchise where a very obscure term like "I'll bet credits to navy beans" is still used as late as the year 2267 the idea of an ancient game like tic-tac-toe still being played in the 3100s doesn't remotely bother me.
I know that's not how she pronounces it, but I can't help thinking "K-Batch", as if that were the designation of that particular breed of Jem Hadar in the lab.
Given Apple and Samsung's dominance in the comms space that car drop scene of '09 is the only thing find cringey in that movie.
