IMO this is by far the best episode of the season. They just did fun action without it being derivative or a rehash of something.

Interesting twist at the end, but yeah that sounds like what modern humans would do.

I don't think the "they were human" aspect was needed.

Though, it makes me think of the Reavers from the pilot episode of Firefly. Men who went mad on the edge of space.
Reminded me of Reavers too. Without the rape-cannibalism, that is.
So they have just been living on that ship, breeding with each other for 200 years? I feel like we are missing some important stuff to this story.
"I hear banjos, Captain"
Imagine you're in a war, and shoot an enemy soldier in self defense. Then, you find a picture of his kids on his body. You're telling me you wouldn't take mixed feelings with you to your grave - even if intellectually you know you made the right choice?

A lack of regret, IMHO, is psychopath territory.

OH NO! Continuity error! WORST EPISODE EVER! Trek is ruined, I tell you, ruined!!!!!
I'm like Tech Sgt Chen at this point. Just eating snacks and enjoying the show.
The 52-star decals were lost in the Third World War. :)

maybe we sold one of them to Russia?

Does anyone know what the "T" on their uniforms meant?
Tesla financed the clump ship, obviously

That is highly unlikely, by the time Sarek & Amanda gives Birth to Spock, Humanity & Vulcans have known each other for over a century easily.

There has to have been many "Human × Vulcan" couples who give birth to Hybrid Children by this point in time in-universe.

They may not be that statistically significant compared to the number of "Same Species" couples, which probably dominate the stats.

But they do exist, just like IRL.

Spock just happens to be one of the most famous ones in-universe given his numerous accomplishments.
I was being sarcastic
